Sorry it took so long. I was busy, there were complications, I was having some writers' block, etc. But now it's here, and I like the way it turned out! I hope you do too!

“I don’t even know if you’re going this year,” I said. “Santa hasn’t messaged me asking for confirmation if you’re coming.”
“Don’t freak, Kat,” Dasher said. “It’s only the 19th. He’s still got three days to confirm.”
“I guess you’re right,” I said. “I mean, you are the star employee after all, so you know better.”
“Exactly!” he exclaimed. “He’d never fire me. Now let’s get our minds off this.”

"I'll be flying again soon, right?" Dasher asked confidently with a confident smile.
My eyes widened with shock when I opened the message. "No. In fact, you've been fired."Dasher stood there with his jaw on the floor. “What do you mean we’ve been fired?”
“Santa just said not to come this year because new, like, real Reindeer joined his team this year so he doesn’t need all the Webkinz and other plush Reindeer to help,” I said.
“New Reindeer? When did this happen?” he demanded to know.

“And how will you do that?” Arif asked. “I’ve already found all there is to know about this situation. The only other way to find out more is to go to Santa and ask him yourself.”
“And that’s exactly what I’m going to do,” Frosty Bumble replied.
“You’re just going to walk all the way to the North Pole?” Arif said.
“Whatever it takes!” Frosty Bumble exclaimed as he walked towards the window.

“But how do you know you’re going to make it?” Kaylynn asked. “The North Pole is a long way for one little Webkinz!”“I remember when Dasher first got on that sleigh,” Frosty Bumble said. “I was there. He had the biggest smile I had ever seen. The only time I’ve ever seen a smile like that is someone getting an object they had really wanted for Christmas. All he ever wanted was to help children all over the world get their Christmas wishes for Christmas, which was the most selfless holiday desire I’ve ever seen. I have to try.”

Then Mandy led them to the globe. She pointed to an area in Canada. "We're here." She pointed to the North Pole. "Santa is up here." She pointed to where Connecticut was in the United States. "You guys are down there. We've already made a travel schedule. And I hate to cut this convo so short, but me, Frosty Bumble, and our other travel mate have to get going right now if we want to make it to where we want to go in time."
"Oh, okay," Kaylynn said. "But just so you guys know, I believe in you. Frosty Bumble, I believe you can help fix this whole Reindeer situation. Good luck, you guys!"

It was early in the Friday afternoon. Mandy had just taken off to escort Swarley back to his home with Dance in Canada.
Dasher and Kaylynn were sitting on the bed discussing things.
“Fired...I’ve been fired!” Dasher said aloud.

“Today’s Christmas Eve Eve. Tonight, I would have been taking off to the North Pole to help pull Santa’s sleigh, but no. I’m stuck at home, because Santa decided he doesn’t need Webkinz Reindeer anymore!”
