“Lemme guess, she’s going to go find her dance partner she probably doesn’t even know the name of yet?” Mandy assumed.
“Yep,” Chloe said. “Because she can just never be alone.” She settled into sitting more and just let her eyes wander.

Mandy took advantage of this moment to look for Sadie. She was curious to see where she was.

She spotted her in the crowd, and Mandy caught Sadie staring at her while she danced with Fanby.

Sadie’s face darted away as soon as she saw Mandy was looking.

Mandy’s heart skipped a beat. Then she looked around some more. Maybe she was just imagining that Sadie was looking at her.

She looked and saw Giraffe in the distance.

She trotted up to the tall Webkinz. “Hey, Giraffe!”

“Dances are stupid. We all build ourselves up for nothing,” Giraffe blabbed.
“Yeah, these are supposed to be fun and unfortunately things like television give us these unrealistic expectations of how it’s going to go,” Mandy said.

“I can’t believe she didn’t show up!” George complained when he approached Mandy and Giraffe. “Now I don’t have a dancing partner!”

“Dancing at dances is too mainstream,” Mandy said. “In my opinion, you should just harass everyone.”

George looked at her like she had just come up with the most brilliant idea ever.
“Yeeeeeessss,” George hissed with inspiration and excitement.

Giraffe looked at her with the biggest grin on his face. He mouthed, “thank you.”
