Dasher stared out of the window into the dark Christmas Eve Eve sky. “If only I was up there tonight,” Dasher thought. “If only.”

He pulled down the shades. He'd given up. There was just not enough Christmas spirit for him this year.

He got off the windowsill. “Kaylynn? Kaylynn?” he called out. “It’s been hours! What happened to you?”

He saw her and Riley attached to the Webkinz Mobile with a plush Santa sitting inside it.

He hopped down onto the ground. “What's this?”
Kaylynn was smiling. “Me, Riley, and the other Webkinz created a mock-Santa delivery for you to help with. There’s a bunch of Webkinz lined up waiting for Christmas candy cane presents.” She patted the box. “Now get hooked up and help pull this sleigh!”
Dasher smiled. “Thanks, Kaylynn.”

So he attached himself to the sleigh and started pulling.

“I feel a ton better, guys,” Dasher announced when they were finished. “Thanks.”

Suddenly, they heard magical bells.
“No,” he said softly. “It can’t be.”

“7:41” he read aloud.

“Ho ho ho!” Frosty Bumble exclaimed as he busted through the window.

“Frosty Bumble!” Kaylynn exclaimed in happiness. “You made it back home!”
“Yep! And HELP WANTED!” he exclaimed.

“Santa Claus is looking for three Webkinz Reindeer to help pull his sleigh. He wants three specifically named Dasher, Kaylynn, and Riley. If anyone wants to apply, his sleigh is right outside.”

Dasher shrieked with joy and scooped up Riley.. “SANTA!” he shrieked happily as he flew outside.

Kaylynn slowly followed, but stopped at Frosty Bumble. “How did you convince him to let us back on the team?”
“It’s sorta a long story,” Frosty Bumble said. “You see, when Rudolph and the next generation of Reindeer were born this year, Rudolph convinced Santa to only use real Reindeer as soon as he had reason. You see, the North Pole is a big business. As long as stores promote Santa Claus in a positive image, he returns the favor by buying their merchandise and giving it to people as presents for Christmas. Since Rudolph was a popular icon prior to his own existence, he told Santa that having him replace Vixen instead of you guys, he would help promotion and business as much as possible. So Santa was just thinking about his business and money, like any old man would, and fell for Rudolph’s plot to take over the North Pole.”
