Ganz's Instructions For Cleaning WebkinzStarring: Evelyn

A lot of you have gotten concerned when I would bathe my Webkinz. They are usually fine for me (except in the dryer), but if you'd rather play safe than have fun in the bath tub, I'll demonstrate how to clean the way Ganz tells us to with Evelyn, because she got dirty while getting lost.

Time to clean up!

First, get a damp cloth.

Wipe the Webkinz down.

Add a really small amount of baby shampoo. (I don't have shampoo, so I'm going to use a really small amount of liquid hand soap.)

I'm gonna lather it in with a damp towel.

Wipe down the Webkinz, especially in spots with dirt.

Back on the second thread, I promised you guys and the Persians that I'd get another Persian, in the update "Persian Friends." I was in Walgreens yesterday, I told my mom I would wander, and ran to the Webkinz Cares shelf. I had brought money to buy a Webkinz, because I was dying for a new one. To my luck, THEY HAD LIL' PERSIANS! I couldn't resist. Welcome, Evelyn!

I had brought Maddy along too. A Lil' Kinz is ESSENTIAL in my purse even though I'm a big girl. The girls ate those ice cream shots with me I had gotten at ShopRite.

Hi Madeline and Kat!! I had an AWESOME time yesterday! I saw fireworks!!! Have you ever seen fireworks? I wish I could fly so I could see the fireworks up close. How are your sisters? My sisters are doing good. We really don't look like sisters though.

Hi, Emma and Lily! And hi, Jet! Always great hearing from you guys!

Kat and Debbie were away at a picnic all day, so most of us at home just ran around to windows seeing if anyone was blowing off firecrackers. We saw a few, but that's it.

I have seen fireworks before. Every year there's this carnival in Kat's town for the weekend, and Kat gets a great view of their Saturday Night Fireworks.

My sisters are fine. They're excited about Evelyn. We haven't had new Webkinz come in since April! That's Kat's biggest gap yet of no Webkinz!

(By the way, Shuffle hasn't come back yet.)

Yay! It's time for a 4th of July update! And it will be long! Why? Because we're AMERICANS!

For those who are outside of the US, this day was when we claimed our independence from the British, and so we were no longer British's 13 Colonies in North America, but the United States of America. (AKA, our birthday.)

I'll post parts throughout the day. Okay? It's better than having to wait until late tonight for it!

Also, Sarah (SmileySarah) and I will stay up late tonight again like we did last time.

Hi, guys! It's me! Sean! I'm Kat's brother's Lil' Kinz Frog.

Today Jamarcus and I went to a pizza place with Kat's bro and Kat to pick up pizza! It was fun!

Well, first of all, we were belted in the car. Hey, we need to stay safe!

Then when we were there, we went around with Kat and her bro. We were carried, of course. Sorry we don't have any pictures, but it was nice!

First of all, it's HUGE in there! Hey, we're just Lil' Kinz! Good thing we were carried, or else we'd get lost! That wouldn't be good! Kat's brother finally found me recently in his room! I HATE being lost!

Second of all, they had a Ms. PacMan machine in there. Kat's brother and I LOVE PacMan. He tells me that Ms. PacMan's real name is PacGal. We didn't get to play, but it was cool!

They also had a soda machine. Kat and her brother's mom got a soda, and I think they had an ice cream machine in there. Best of all, I got to hang onto the soda as we were driving home!

Overall, I like it. I'm going to let Jamarcus talk now.

Hey guys! It's ME! Jamarcus! Sean explained the trip, so I'll just add some more details.

Kat's brother carried Sean and my head was sticking out of Kat's purse. It WAS huge! It was also fun! I LOVE exploring new places! I really wish we could have played PacGal, or at least gotten a picture of it.

Greetings, humans and Webkinz! Franny the SpongeBob Fanatic Dolphin here! And today I have some news that you may have known for a while.

Many of you have probably heard about the upcoming SpongeBob Sponge Bash on Nickelodeon. Am I right? Well, on the commercial, they didn't say what it was for! You'd either have to be a fanatic like me or go to the site to see what it's all about.

So what is it all about?

IT'S SPONGEBOB'S 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF BEING ON TV!

That's right! 10 years ago (July 1999), SpongeBob went on-air as a Nickelodeon TV series!

And now, Kat and I will log in to SpongeBob.com/Bash, and explore the site!

And after a while, it was a hard descision, but we came down to these 10 episodes!

WARNING! SPOILERS!

1. Home Sweet Pineapple
In this episode, Nematodes get thirsty and drink SpongeBob's house, so he has to find someplace to stay. He tries to build a new house, stay at Patrick's, then Squidward's, and then he gave up and decided it was time to move back in with his parents.

2. Squidward the Unfriendly GhostIn this episode, Squidward makes a sculpture of himself, and when he goes to take a shower, SpongeBob and Patrick go to his house to retrieve a shell. And when the sculpture melts, SpongeBob and Patrick think that they killed Squidward, and when Squidward comes out of the shower with powder on him, white towels on him, and a trail of hot steam behind him, the boys think that Squidward's ghost came back to haunt him because he looked ghostly. Squidward decided to play along until it got too annoying.

3. I Was a Teenage GaryIn this episode, Squidward babysits Gary for a weekend so SpongeBob and Patrick can go on a trip, and he was too busy relaxing to remember to take care of Gary. Gary gets dehydrated, and when SpongeBob came back, they thought Gary was sick so they called the Vet. The Vet provided Snail Plasma, causing SpongeBob to accidentally be turned into a snail, then eventually Squidward.

4. Night LightSpongeBob had trouble sleeping because he developed a fear of the dark after reading a scary story. Mr. Krabs suggested he get a night light, and he ended up getting too many, and this attracted Patrick over, and soon they got so much night lights and lights in the house that they attracted all kinds of trouble and nonsense that night.

5. Sing a Song of Patrick
Patrick sees an ad in a comic book (well, SpongeBob read it to him) saying that if he submits a poem that a band will turn it into a hit song. Patrick really wanted to have a hit song, so he thinks really hard, and wrote the worst poem ever that turned into the worst song ever. SpongeBob and Patrick managed to get it on the radio, but it just caused all kinds of destruction.

6. Sandy's RocketSpongeBob and Patrick steal Sandy's Rocket to go to the moon and capture aliens to prove to Sandy that there's aliens, but they ended up landing back in Bikini Bottom, and since they thought it was the moon, they packed all of the citizens in the rocket thinking they were aliens!

7. Scaredy Pants(AKA, the Halloween Special.) Every Halloween, everything scares SpongeBob, and everyone scares him for a laugh. So this year, SpongeBob attempted to make a really scary Flying Dutchman costume, but it attracted trouble...even from The Flying Dutchman himself!

8. I.diot BoxSpongeBob and Patrick bought a really big TV just to play in the box. Squidward eventually took the TV, but SpongeBob and Patrick's imagination created very realistic sounds that drove Squidward nuts throughout the day, because he thought it was just recordings to drive him nuts.

9. Spy BuddiesWhen Plankton and Mr. Krabs switched places for a day to see if Mr. Krabs to do Plankton's job (it was also a bet of $1). So, Plankton (as Mr. Krabs) sent out SpongeBob and Patrick to spy on Mr. Krabs (as Plankton) to see what his plan was. They borrowed spy gear from Sandy and caused all kinds of trouble.

10. Suction Cup SymphonySquidward saw an ad about a Composition Contest, so he went to write a song. While he was writing, SpongeBob and Patrick played Doctor REALLY LOUD, and Squidward wrote down everything he heard, and it ended up to be a hit winner when he performed it.

So, yes. (And by the way, spoiler tags don't work for us, so don't bug us about them.)

You can just erase more from here, but I'm now going to use...the Magic Wand, which is sometimes better for the time, and sometimes it's just better to stick to erasing. But I'll show it anyway.

Mess with the percentage, and click on the area you wish to erase.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!
See the button my mouse is on? That merges down the current layer to the layer below, making it one layer.
Click on the top layer, and MERGE ALL OF THEM DOWN UNTIL IT'S ONE LAYER!
If you don't merge them all down, YOU CANNOT PUT IT ON WI.

Now go to Edit --> Save, and make sure it's saved as a .PNG image. NOT A .PDN IMAGE! If it's not saved as a .PNG image, it WILL NOT be able to be uploaded to WI.

To make the pictures fadey-like...
First make sure you have the layer you want to fade selected.

Go to Adjustments --> Transparency. (Download that addon!)

A Guide of How I Made My BannerPart 1

One of the most frequent question I've been getting since I stopped taking banner requests was...
"Kat, how do I make banners?"
And I say...
"Download Paint.NET. You can get it for free at Download.com."
And then they say...
"How do you use it?"
And I just say...
"Just play around with it."
People can just never get the hang of it.
So, I promised a bunch of people that I'd make an update of how I make my banners.

Please note, this update was just to show how I made my banner. Just to show you how some of the features work. I don't want you to do it exactly how I did it. Get creative. : )

Also, please also note, I've been making banners since before I've been picture threading. That's way over a year ago. Please do not throw tantrums and complain to me when you don't make the "perfect banner" on the first go.

Also note, I'm not very technical, and I'm not right next to you. If you are having installation programs, I really don't know what to do.

Download Paint.NET here.
Get the Transparency addon here.

Now here we go.

First of all, see this tool my mouse is on? Click on it.

Hold down the left mouse button (I feel like I'm teaching my grandma!) and drag it out until you feel the box would be a nice banner size for you.

Up here you can mess with it, but I'm gonna keep it the way it is.

Drag the mouse around until you get a blend you like. (If you don't like it, go to Edit --> Undo or hold down CTRL (Control) and Z.) When you finally get the blend you want, hold down CTRL and D. This is the "Deselect" shortcut so you don't accidentally hit something that will mess up your background.
