Shona Loves Autumn, Her Zumbuddy, and Her Nephew!

Hi guys! It's Shona! I just want to post some quick updates. This is one of my first blog entries of me taking over so bear with me for the lame-ness. It shall get better!

So it's fall! And me and Icestorm and the rest of the family have been enjoying it!

He scurried back to Shuffle.

"Ready to go back inside?" Shuffle asked.

Chris then hugged Shuffle and cried. Every little emotion he held in over the past few years exploded out of him.
Shuffle placed his feather on Chris' paw. "It's okay. It's okay. You're home now."

Chris lied down on my bed thinking about a lot. He was all worn out by his emotions.

Sparky climbed onto the bed. Chris started to get nervous.
"Hello," Sparky said. "Don't be scared. I'm sorry I thought you were a squirrel last week. Squirrels like to dance across the front lawn and in the trees to mess with me so that's why I don't like them."
"Oh, okay," Chris said.

Sparky sat down next to him.
"So how are you?" Sparky asked.
"Relieved," Chris said. "Shuffle said he's going to adopt me as his son so I'll be Amelia's brother."
"That's awesome," Sparky replied. "I went through a very similar situation that you went through almost seven years ago. Things will get better."
"Yeah," Chris said. "I know they will."

"Hi, Chris," he said gently.

"Abby, you don't have to donate me anymore," Chris said. "I'm going to live in the house next door."

Lily stepped up and put on her firm voice. "Look, this isn't about me. This isn't about Lacey. This isn't even about Amelia. It's about Chris and how happy he'd be if he didn't have to leave Amelia behind. And we never ever ignore a Webkinz that is in need and you know that. And even you know what he needs."

Shuffle didn't say anything. He did know that. He sat there remembering that time when Lacey left the house the year before to go and find him when he was lost miles away and brought him home during a thunderstorm.
"Okay," he said in a calm tone.

He looked at Lacey. "Lacey, can you watch Amelia?"
"Of course," Lacey said.

Chris looked at Amelia with a lump in his throat.
"I'm sorry, Amelia," he said. "Goodbye."

Amelia began to go after him. She was breathing heavily. "Chris!"

Lacey and Lily were watching in shock.
"That's Chris," Lacey pointed out.

"You know we're going to," Lacey said in her confident voice.

Chris abruptly turned around to face them squinting his eyes.
"What do you want?" he sobbed.

"I live in the house next door," he gestured with his body.

He turned back to them and began to cry. "Two years ago my owner, Abby, bought me because she thought I was cute and she was already collecting Beanie Babies to sell later on. For two weeks we were the best of friends. Then one day I accidentally went up to her and asked her to play while friends were over and they saw me." He began to cry even more and his voice went higher. "She refused to play with me ever since. It hurts so much!"

Chris took a deep breath and his voice became more normal. "I've been playing with Amelia because the only times I've been played with since that day was her dog and he's not gentle. So I'm also terrified of dogs."

Chris climbed through my window. His heard was pounding. He had never been in someone else's house before. It was the next day and he was going to say goodbye to Amelia.

He looked over at the Webkinz Corner. He felt like he was in a warm friendly place but at the same time he was jealous that all these Webkinz had this home.

Chris and Amelia met at their normal spot at the fence. Chris hung over it to talk to her.
"So how did it go?"

"You're going away?" Amelia asked, shocked.
