THIS STORY WAS MADE WEEKS AGO, BEFORE I WAS SICK SO GIVE ME A DARN BREAK.

"Kat I am just so cold!" Chloe complained and shivered. "Two blankets, one electrically heated, just isn't enough! And it's only the fall!""I know...I know..." I replied.

So a while back (I think back in September or so), I went to the library to pick up Seekers manga and read it to celebrate me finishing up the first Seekers series. (I'm working on reading the Seekers series; so far I have all the books except Into the Wild #1 and 2 done, but I have those books in my house now and they are in progress.)

I decided that 2 little manga books weren't enough to borrow from the library, so I looked through the children's section some more to look at all of the books I've read when I was younger. I saw that the Emily Windsnap series released a 4th book sometime over the past few years.

I decided to take it out and read it and Shona (aka the one who was named after a character of the series) and Debbie (our bookworm) wanted me to share this information with you guys.

BUT HOLY BANANAS. FOR A WHILE THAT BOOK WAS TAKING ME FOR-EVER TO READ. THIS IS A BOOK FROM THE CHILDREN'S SECTION WITH BIG, EASY-TO READ FONT AND ALL BUT I WAS JUST TAKING FOREVER. AND I'M USED TO READING LIKE, 500-800 PAGE NOVELS ON A REGULAR BASIS (AND I EVEN MANAGED TO COMPLETE DIFFICULT BOOKS LIKE HUCKLEBERRY FINN). LIKE WHAT THE FREAK WHY DID THIS BOOK TAKE AS LONG AS IT DID FOR ME TO READ???

So in school on Halloween, I got to dress up in a costume and wear it during school that day! I dressed up as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

And you see, since PE classes weren't running that morning, I didn't have any classes until around that noon. But my PE teacher was like "hey why don't you come in anyway and show me your costume?" and I was like "hmm why not."
AND SHE GAVE ME ALL THIS FREE FOOD. IT WAS SO WORTH IT.
