Yet another blog entry yoohoo!
Title Meanings #2
Hey so you guys remember that blog entry I made a while back (Title Meanings #1) where I said I would continue it with more title meanings?
Well, here ye go...
Life Skills - Not a song title! So this is the update where Shuffle has Amelia hang out with Dina Lee and Burbank to see if the little speech-delayed penguin picks up on talking by watching the Lil' cats interacting. And talking = life skills. Also, Dina Lee, Burbank, Cupid, and Shane learned that you shouldn't say certain things in front of mimicking children...
Empty Bottle - This update is about Crellie and Tamara unsatisfied with their lives, so I looked up songs about life feeling empty, and "Empty Bottle" was the most interesting thing that came up.
Little Wonders - For those who don't know, "Little Wonders" is a fantastic song that played during the closing scenes of the movie, "Meet the Robinsons." This song is about special moments with the people who are close to you (or at least that's what I got from it), and there are some of those moments in this update. The update is about Mandy finally making a friend who accepts her as a science nerd (similar to Lewis's search to find an adopting family to accept him as a science nerd) and Cheryl's fight to keep LemonPet home with her (because it was believed he was recalled).
Down to Earth - This is the title of a very touching song by Justin Bieber about his parents (even though this update has nothing to do with parents). In this update, everyone discovers that Amelia is inable to fly, no matter what. So Amelia is literally...down to Earth.
Don't Let it End (Parts 1 and 2) - This song is a fantastic song about begging someone to stay in a relationship. It's about Chris slowly leaving his old home with Abby to live at my house and be Amelia's brother, but neither Abby or Chris are ready to part ways although it's best.
Who Let the Dogs Out? - All I have to say is "Who Let the Dogs Out?" is a song about dogs, and this update's plots are centered around the Webkinz Labs of the house (Lacey wanting to learn more about M.J., Hershica looking for a Tamagotchi replacement, and Tropical Banana convinced that Sparky ate Mandy).
Nothing Left to Lose - This is a fantastic song about the singer asking someone to stay with him because "nothing left to lose" in their relationship. This update was originally supposed to be about the relationship between Mandy and Sadie, but I'm covering that plot in Gold Forever. This update is about Chris going back to Abby (by her request) because he feels like he has nothing else left to lose by going back to her.
Thriller - Well, this is the famous Michael Jackson Halloween song, and this was le Halloween special.
Barely Breathing - Okay so I wanted to do a story about superheroes and superpowers, so I looked for song titles having something to do with the subject and "Barely Breathing" popped up.
Judging Googles - Well, it's not a song but it's a clever play on words, am I right? In this update, Jenny (the Pink Googles famously known for her job as a court judge), is trying to convince and trail Wombo, the Lil' Googles, to be a judge (but he doesn't want to be a judge!).
Is the Grass Really Greener on the Other Side? (1 and 2) - This title is just a common phrase and it's about Gummy believing that the real world is better than the virtual one, but then he discovers both worlds are different but are same on the "green" aspect and he's better off online.
Friends Forever - A title of a good song and a dialogue quote. This update is about Lily having flashbacks and worrying about changes in her life, but Joey assures her that they'll be "friends forever."
Teenage Dream - Song title! In this update, Lacey, Nicole, and Lily have a sleepover and Mandy comes to terms with the fact that she's not so straight (and that it's fine). "Teenage Dream" refers to the teen friends having sleep-dreams at their sleepover, Lacey discussing her crush on Tropical Banana, Lily discussing how she wants to be Amelia's mom down the road, and I personally consider "Teenage Dream" a song for not-so-straight couples (like, a Mandy song). XD
Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forever (Parts 1 and 2) - I looked up a song about goodbyes, and this is what I found. In Part 1 of this update, Chelsea and Joey throw Lily and Nick a surprise birthday party and the two friends argue about who should get credit for the idea of throwing it, leading to their arrest by M.J. (but they manage to escape later). In Part 2, Nick feels everyone he loves slipping away from them leading to him asking Mandy to build a spaceship to Xenas to find Barbie and M.J. brings Lily and Joey back to jail. The title refers to Nick wanting to reunite with Barbie, so her goodbye "doesn't mean forever," and Lily and Joey being in jail isn't forever.
Understand the Dream is Over - This is by far the best update I've done in the short time I've had to make it. Anyway, I wanted to look up a song title about not having what you want anymore (or something related to that, I can't remember because it was such a long time ago). This title refers to how Hershica's "dream" of being a perfect Tamagotchi pet owner being over because her precious Tamagotchi died and Sparky's "dream" of keeping his secret identity of Justin Bieber a secret being over.
Oooh! The Christmas special!
Well, it's pretty obvious that Saving Christmas is referring to the Webkinz (mine and Sarah's) trying to help "save Christmas" (as Nick exclaimed it) for each other, because it was turning into a depressing one.
The titles of parts 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8 are self-explanatory (you just have to read those stories to get what's going on), but parts 4, 5, and 6 might be funny to some.
The Journey - Well, I guess this might be self-explanatory. So a bunch of Webkinz go on a "journey" to each others' houses for the whole Webkinz Exchange Program/Accidental Webkinz Exchange thing. It's also the start of their "journey to save Christmas."
Standing in the Dark - Just felt like this song title would be a cool match for this story about several Webkinz being scared at night about what's going to happen next during this depressing Christmas.
Friday Morning Coming Down - Okay so I looked up song titles about rough mornings or mornings in general or something. One of the results I got was "Sunday Morning Coming Down," but this story part takes place on a Friday morning! So yeah, the title was changed appropriately.
Meh, I think you guys have read enough for now. ^.^
More to come!
