Lily decides to tell her kids (and Skyro and Birdenstein) the history of her and Shuffle's friendship to pass some time.

Amelia sighed as she lied down on her side on a pillow.

Lily assumed all this sighing was meant to catch someone’s attention so she approached her and asked, “what’s up, Amelia?”
“Oh, nothing, Mommy.”

“Like what?” Amelia asked curiously.

Lily pondered, then a thought snapped into her head. “Oh! Remember how Daddy didn’t like Chris at first?”

“Yeah!” Amelia remembered. “He thought Chris was dangerous. He didn’t trust him!”

“Exactly! You see, Daddy’s having some trouble being a good parent right now. He’s still a bit new to having kids. He’s figuring out what’s wrong and right for parents to do with their families. Shuffle always has trouble with things, just like everyone else!”
“Like what? What else has he had trouble with? Tell me! Tell me!” Amelia was very curious and wanted to know all the details about her father’s past.
