Awkward Ground-Squriming
So this update sorta took place last week or so, but yeah...enjoy...

Me and the new Airdale (we'll just call him Airdale for now until his gifting to my mother in December) were watching Legend of Korra on my iPod together.

Airdale turned to me and said, "wow! Legend of Korra is really good! I really love it! Thank you for showing it to me!"
"Oh, you're welcome! I'm happy to share Avatar awesomeness with anyone!"

"Hey, hunny bunny," Chloe greeted. "How's your Legend of Korra re-watch going?"
"It's going quite good! When this episode is over I might go and re-watch some episodes of H2O."
"You're re-watching H2O too? You're so predictable. You and your obsession with Avatar things and mermaids," Chloe complained.

"Um, why do you always have to randomly appear and poke fun at Kat?" the timid Airdale asked her.
"Because it would be out of character if I didn't," Chloe responded plainly.

Shona scurried up and exclaimed, "mermaid! Did I hear someone say 'mermaid'?"

"Yes, I did," Chloe replied to her. "I was talking about Kat's obsession with mermaids."
"You know, I am kinda a mermaid myself," Shona bragged.
"So I hear."
"I'm a mer-beagle! Would you like to see my tail?"
"Not-"

Before Chloe could finish her sentence with a 'really,' Shona exclaimed, "okay! I'll go get it!" and scurried away.
Chloe sighed.

Shona pulled herself back up and squirmed around.
"See?" she said with a warm laugh. "Mer-beagle!"
"Yes, I see," Chloe replied in a sarcastic-interested tone of voice.

Shona started rolling around in her mermaid tail and giggling.

Chloe moaned in an annoyed tone. "Really? Really?"

Chloe turned to me. "You really don't have any better ideas than 'Shona reminds everyone about the existence of her sock-tail'?"
"Nope," was all I said back to her.

Chloe slid to her belly, buried her head in her paws, and groaned loudly in annoyance.

Shona was still rolling and giggling, so it was just the two of them on the ground and nothing else.

Airdale was just sitting there awkwardly.

Then Airdale got on the ground with them and started squirming around awkwardly, not knowing what else to do.

And they just did that for the next 30 minutes or so...

Gold Forever Part 2 is still being written (gradually during my free periods, but it's halfway done), and after I'm done with that update I'll start working on this year's Christmas special, titled I'll Be Home for Christmas.)
