I never imagined parenting all by yourself would be so difficult. I have no idea how you managed to do it all before the union. I guess you’re just as amazing as some people say you are. Let me say: I don’t disagree with them one bit. You are amazing. You’re not perfect, because no one is. She may not look like you, but anyone can tell she’s your daughter. She has your spirit and she cares about people like you do. You’re her dad. If it weren’t for you, he wouldn’t be in a loving home right now. He’d still be sleeping in the bottom of some closet waiting to be played with for years and years. Now, he has a loving father, sister, and mother. He also has an entire household of inhabitants who love him. I’m their mom, and I care about them more than any other female in the world. It’s my job to give them that special compassion a mom gives. I have to be a strong female role model for Amelia so she can grow into a lovely woman.
