“It’s just one cup of soda, calm down.”
“And your sleeping habits are terrible!”
“Well it’s somewhat hard to juggle school and taking care of you people...”
“Well you need to start taking better care of yourself!”
“Shuffle, you’re not my mom so you don’t have to worry about these things. In fact, I’m your mom; so why are you being all twisty?”

Lacey casually walked up and sighed humorously. “Someone’s motherly instincts are kicking in.”

He scurried up to her and grabbed her and hugged her. “Don’t leave, Lacey! I love you!”
Lacey giggled and sighed. “Ah, Shuffle. What are we gonna do with you?” She sat there and smiled for a moment. “You know, before we all realized you were acting funny, I was afraid you were starting to hate me!”
“No, no. You’re fine,” Shuffle said softly.

“I feel like we should look into getting more kids! Just Cupid isn’t enough!” Shona discussed with Icestorm.
“Yeah! Definitely!” Icestorm agreed.
“What do you mean I’m not enough? I thought I was special!” Cupid interrupted in his worried, squeaky voice.

Lily exhaled. “That’s great, Nick,” she said emotionless, trying to hold back her total annoyance for her brother. She was starting to tolerate him more and more but there were still times he got under her skin unintentionally.
