“When Christmas Eve finally came, Santa picked me up late. I almost gave up on him and my dream of helping pull his sleigh and spreading holiday cheer.”

“But then Shuffle told me, and everyone else, to go to sleep and promised he’d call Santa. So I did, and he came! He came and picked me up, and then he dropped me off later that morning.”

“And here we are now,” Dasher said to finish his dialogue. “After all that, after all those obstacles to even get a chance to live my dream, and after all of my life I’ve dedicated to Santa, he pushed me away. He let me down.” He looked away in disappointment.

Dasher puffed. “But what if it’s not? Maybe if he never showed up in 2008, I could have just cried over it then and I’ve be over it today and just celebrating the holidays like a normal Webkinz.”

Lacey stopped gritting her teeth but there was a scowl on her face. “Hey.”
“Are you shoe racing?” Kaylynn asked.
Lacey nodded.
“Can we join you? Dasher needs to get his mind off stuff.”
“Yeah yeah, sure. Just get on my team! Quick!”
