Shoes ran as fast as she could, but Sophie was gaining.
“Stupid cow legs!” Shoes grunted while panting like crazy. Her heart was beating wildly and her adrenaline was pumping to the maximum through her stuffing.

“What do you mean by ‘we’re stuck here forever’?” Mandy said back to the voice.
“I mean you got what you asked for!” the voice said. “You came to the alternate universe! But once you’re in the alternate universe, there’s no way you can go back.”

“Are you serious?” Mandy yelled back. “Then why did you take us here in the first place?”
