Friend spotted Debbie reading a book in the distance.
"Ooh! There's Debbie!" she pointed out.

"Debbie is really cool," Friend said to Tamara as they went up to the seahorse. "I think you guys will get along nicely."

“Hey, Debbie!” Friend greeted. “Whatcha doing?”

“Reading a book!” Debbie answered when she pulled her head up. “It’s really good!”

Tammy recognized the book. “Ooh, is that The Tail of Emily Windsnap? I loved that book!”

“Yeah! It is!” Debbie exclaimed. “Isn’t it great?”

“I just squealed when Emily reunited her family!” Tammy gushed.

“Like a book club?” Debbie asked.

“I do like books and would like some suggestions of what to read next!” Tammy said.
“Yeah! Let’s make a book club!” Friend said.
“While I finish this book, go find people to join the club, okay? We can talk about how we’re gonna set this up when we find the people!” Debbie instructed.
“Okay!” Tammy answered excitedly.

Tammy scurried off and Friend followed by her side.

“Aren’t you happy, Tammy? You’re gonna start a book club! You know, clubs are a great way to make friends!” Friend said with positive energy as they walked.

They stopped walking for a moment.
“Yeah! I’m sooo happy!” Tammy squealed.

Then George appeared.
“Miley! Miley!” he called.

George gave her a sour look as soon as he realized he wasn’t talking to Miley. “Oh, it’s you.”

“What? What’s wrong with Tam?” Friend snapped at George.
“I was hoping she was Miley, but no, it’s just smelly Tamara,” George said rudely. He looked over at Tamara. “Jeez, why do you and her look so much alike?”
Tamara looked down. “I don’t know.”

“Go away, George,” Friend sassed him as she glared harder in his face. “We’re trying to make a book club!”
“A book club?” George said in a disgusted voice. “That is beyond stupid. Book clubs are for losers.”

“Man, how I wish Miley was always by my side,” he sighed as he walked away. “She’s just so cool and having her by my side would make me even cooler.”
