I started fantasizing situations again.
"That would probably be something he would say to me. Why is he so far away?"

I continued walking on.

Then I saw the Yellow Labs, Lacey and Tropical Banana, who are also twins to other Labs, playing together.
"Haha! You can't see!" Tropical Banana said in a teasing voice as he covered Lacey's eyes.
"Aaagh!" Lacey said in a teasing voice.

"I wish I could play with him like that. Why does distance exist?"

Then I imagined how amazing it would feel to hold him in a tight friendly hug in my arms.

I climbed onto the bed.

Then I saw Phil. He was with his ladies.

I walked towards the pillow.

I exhaled and flopped onto my belly.

Then Chloe magically appeared and yelled, "ABRA CADABRA THE POWER OF GIRAFFE!"
"Hey, Chloe," I said.

...and flopped down next to her.
"You excited for prom?" Chloe asked.
"No," I said sternly.
"How come? Isn't there a special someone you want to take as your dancing partner to the prom?"
"And you have a dancing partner?" I challenged her.
"Me and Rex were always destined to be endgame, so I'm all set for this prom," she replied. "Now you spill."
"I would like to take Swarley, but he lives at Dance's house all the way in Canada. No way he can just come all the way down just for a silly prom," I admitted.
"Oh," was all Chloe could say.
"I really like him now. We've been talking every day since February. I'd love to meet him in real-life but I know that's not happening."
"Maybe a Christmas miracle will happen?" Chloe tried to reassure her.
"Yeah, right," I said, hopeless.
"Hey, at least you actually have a person who would probably like to dance with you," Chloe said.

Then she looked at Kat to challenge her with her last statement. "KAT."
"CHLOE, YOU ARE ON MY ABSOLUTE LAST NERVE TODAY!" Kat scolded.
"Oh, Kat. If only people liked you and would actually want to dance with you." She sighed. "Then you going to dances actually wouldn't be so pointless!"

Then Sparky/Justin Bieber in his secret dog disguise hopped onto the bed and started singing. "I don't want a lot for Christmas! There is just one thing I need! I don't care about the presents, underneath the Christmas tree. I just want you for my own, more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true, all I want for Christmas is you!"
