Tamara was telling Friend about some of the things that happened to her recently.
“So...he asked me to dance with him at prom,” Tammy shyly said to her friend, Friend.

“I didn’t exactly give him an answer yet,” Tammy said. “I was also thinking Miley could hang with George at the prom for mischievous reasons, which Phil suggested.”

“This whole prom situation,” Laraine said in a fake-innocent tone. “Well, it’s in two days...and Monroe can only dance with one of us.”

“You can have him!” Friend snapped. “I don’t care anymore. It’s time I focused on helping my friend be happy again instead of worrying about all that silly stuff that won’t even matter down the road.”
