Shona and Icestorm reflect on some things as they transition to their lifestyle at Kat's new living area.

I felt Kat pull out the Hunger Games sport sac from the black suitcase and drop it on the smooth wooden floor.

Thump the bag went. I heard my boys puff out air as they felt the impact of the drop.
I could feel my body shake with excitement. A new place! A new environment! A new state! A new adventure!

I reached my paws out to stretch out the opening of the sac, then I pulled my head out to the opening to see my new living space.

Kat lifted me out. "Shona, it's a bit crowded right now with all of the unpackers. I'm going to place you and the fam on my bed so you guys can just play around until I'm done and everyone clears out."

"Okay," I said.

She placed me back into the sports sac and lightly tossed it on her top bunk.

We all weaseled out of the bag one by one.

The boys started looking around the top bunk.

I went and hugged my dear mate.
"Hey, Sugar Booger," Icy greeted with a smirk.
"I'm happy," I said in a satisfied tone.
"You are?" he replied in a humored tone.
"We're all here, we're on a new little adventure, the family's trying something new...yes, I am."
"I am too," he replied with a smile. He looked off at our boys.

Cupid and Shane were chatting
Blaze was sniffing every corner. My reliable Zum girl, Zeb, was right behind Blaze, making sure he wasn't in any danger.

All of a sudden, I heard Icy chuckle.
