"Did you ask her to prom yet?" Chloe asked.

"I've kinda been procrastinating on that," Mandy admitted.

Chloe got up in her face. "Well you better do it soon! Prom is in like, a week!"
"Mmkay," Mandy said, smiling.

"I want that," I thought. "I want to be animal mates with my love interest and have a cute little happy adoptive family with him."

I started imagining myself in Lily's position but it was me and someone else with our own family.
"I wish he was by my side always."

Then I imagined how amazing it would feel to hold him in a tight friendly hug in my arms.

"You excited for prom?" Chloe asked.
"No," I said sternly.
"How come? Isn't there a special someone you want to take as your dancing partner to the prom?"
"And you have a dancing partner?" I challenged her.
"Me and Rex were always destined to be endgame, so I'm all set for this prom," she replied. "Now you spill."
"I would like to take Swarley, but he lives at Dance's house all the way in Canada. No way he can just come all the way down just for a silly prom," I admitted.
"Oh," was all Chloe could say.
"I really like him now. We've been talking every day since February. I'd love to meet him in real-life but I know that's not happening."
"Maybe a Christmas miracle will happen?" Chloe tried to reassure her.
"Yeah, right," I said, hopeless.
"Hey, at least you actually have a person who would probably like to dance with you," Chloe said.

Then Sparky/Justin Bieber in his secret dog disguise hopped onto the bed and started singing. "I don't want a lot for Christmas! There is just one thing I need! I don't care about the presents, underneath the Christmas tree. I just want you for my own, more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true, all I want for Christmas is you!"

"Thank you!" Justin/Sparky boasted. "By the way, I think all of you at home should go out and buy my new Christmas album, 'Under the Mistletoe.' It makes a great stocking stuffer and I do a duet with Mariah Carey!"

“No, but for some reason I don’t think it’s true,” Miley said. “I don’t think I’m the awesomest girl ever.”

“Is there any reason why you dislike the Miley identity so much?” Phil inquired. “Maybe it makes her happy, like how Paley living life has her true gender instead of the one Kat accidentally clicked on makes her happy. I know it’s upsetting that her alternate identity doesn’t like you, but maybe it’s fun for Tamara to be different people and it’s helping her discover who she is.”

“I’m just concerned,” Friend admitted. “She’s been the Miley identity for over two days now. Usually she’s Miley for half the day and Tamara for the other half.”

“Maybe she really likes George so she’s being Miley more often so she can be around him more,” Phil suggested. “Maybe you’re being a little self-centered. Think about what makes her happy. If she’s happy, you should be happy too.”

Friend looked behind her and noticed that Phil was gazing at her differently. This gaze was somewhat similar to how George looked at her, but this gaze seemed warmer to her.
“Well, I somewhat have an idea,” Friend said, breaking the moment of silence they had. “I’m going to go see if I can help Tamara make some friends.”
