“Anyway, I hope you two have fun if you do end up going together! And I have to tell Tamara she can give me her answer anytime, even as late as the dance.” Phil said as he left.

“Yeah,” Mandy said. “By the way, are you planning to hang out with anyone specific at the prom?”

“Actually, yeah!” Sadie replied. “Fanby asked me a few days ago, and I told him I’d hang out with him. He’s so cute, he kept going on and on about how it was destiny and how this was like a fairy tale! How can you say no to that?”

They pulled apart slowly.
“I’m going to go to Canada for a couple days," Mandy told them. "I can’t be here right now. I’ll just be at Dance’s house hanging out with Kurt and Blaine.”
“Okay,” Chloe said softly, nodding.

She stared at him with wide eyes. “What do you mean ‘he left?” Chloe asked suspiciously.
“I mean he went on a Christmas camping trip and won’t be back in time for prom!” Dasher explained.
