"I guess I have to start blackmailing you," Chloe threatened in a serious voice.
"You can flip me over with your ridiculous strength as much as you want," I replied. "I'm not giving you my gelati. And you don't scare me."

"I guess I have no choice!" Chloe called out as she climbed onto my bed and started walking towards my netbook.
"Like you know what my Twitter password is!" I called back in a scoff.
"It's Annie Clark."

I jumped up and placed my Rita's cup onto the bed as I rushed to reach the netbook before Chloe.
"Hey!" I tried to say casually but it came out as nervous. "We seriously don't have to go that far, do we?"

“I always felt that Daddy made an exception in his views just for me. As in, I’m not an official flying Webkinz but he believed my flying was real. I was hoping our friendship could surpass anything - even silly political views.”
“Lacey is being ridiculous with this whole ‘anyone can fly’ business!” Shuffle complained.

“Growing up is extremely difficult; everyone knows that. The transition from youngster to an adult can really change things about a person and their relationships. Daddy really wanted to stick to his views now that he was maturing and getting an adult mind of his own. He was also slowly discovering who he really was, and that can be a shocking experience for a lot of people. It can affect how one interacts with others, often negatively. Along with his negative interactions and harsh views about flying, Daddy wasn’t the best kind of friend for me because he had this bad habit of having no self-control over what he spoke out of his big beak. He would often spit out embarrassing things like secrets I thought I could trust him with. I needed friends who could keep my private things private.”
“I just...can’t stand Barbie! You know? She’s just so irritating how she always follows me around! When I gave her that ride in the Webkinz Mobile, I didn’t sign up for her constantly popping up in my life! UGH!” she complained in a low-volume voice. Lily was venting to Shuffle as they hung out on some pillows.

Shuffle spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. “I don’t think Barbie’s a bad person. I think she’s a good person. The problem is that you get yourself into trouble a lot! Like how you got into another fight with Chi Chi yesterday. I’m so surprised you didn’t get caught for that!”

I was a lousy friend because I used to be a big, mean dragon who would yell at people all the time. Growing up affected my interactions with people negatively too. I used to be angry a lot, especially when a certain doll named Barbie started following me around and lecturing me a lot. She was beyond annoying, and it’s no fun having an annoying doll annoying you wherever you go. I wanted to find my own individual path to adulthood, and the last person I wanted to have ‘help’ from was her. She wanted to assist my journey but I didn’t want to hear any advice she had to offer.”
“It’s good to look for the positives in life!” Barbie droned on and on in a cheery voice.
“There are none,” Lily responded in a bored voice.

“Daddy and I didn’t talk for a very long time. The next thing I remember, is that over the summer he took his first trip to Canada.”
"I'm leaving to go to Canada to see my family for Canada Day," Shuffle said. "I'll be back in a week."
