“I do like books and would like some suggestions of what to read next!” Tammy said.
“Yeah! Let’s make a book club!” Friend said.
“While I finish this book, go find people to join the club, okay? We can talk about how we’re gonna set this up when we find the people!” Debbie instructed.
“Okay!” Tammy answered excitedly.

George gave her a sour look as soon as he realized he wasn’t talking to Miley. “Oh, it’s you.”

“What? What’s wrong with Tam?” Friend snapped at George.
“I was hoping she was Miley, but no, it’s just smelly Tamara,” George said rudely. He looked over at Tamara. “Jeez, why do you and her look so much alike?”
Tamara looked down. “I don’t know.”

“Go away, George,” Friend sassed him as she glared harder in his face. “We’re trying to make a book club!”
“A book club?” George said in a disgusted voice. “That is beyond stupid. Book clubs are for losers.”

“Why? Well, I’ve decided to leave. Not run away, but leave the Tamara identity behind. I’m going to be living as only Miley from now on. I don’t want anyone to ever know that Miley and Tamara were the same person because Tamara won’t even be around anymore. It’s too much of a burden to be Tamara; no one really likes her. I’m sorry that our friendship has been strained because of this, but this is who I am."

She stepped on the opener pedal on the trashcan.
"I hope you understand, and I hope you always remember that I always thought of you as the greatest friend there ever was. This is for the better. I also hope you understand that I can’t speak to you as Miley. Miley’s character isn’t supposed to like you, and, yeah. I wish I could be your friend as Miley, but I just can’t. I can’t.”

She tossed her Tamara accessories in the trash.
“I’m sorry it has to be this way. I also won’t be going online anymore because Miley doesn’t go online, so be sure to say goodbye to Gummy, Dutchman, Kiki, Tasha, and Madigan for me. Also say goodbye to Ziley for me because he’s always online now; he barely comes offline anymore. Also, be sure to explain the situation to Kat while keeping this on the DL; she’ll understand.”
She placed the note down where Friend was sleeping, peacefully hanging out in Webkinz World."

“I know why you’re doing it,” Phil said. “You’re insecure. You’re afraid to show the world your true self, so you’re doing it through the Miley identity because you can’t get hurt or rejected because she’s not stuck with you. You can drop her anytime you want or have to.”

“I took on the second identity to make my character as Tamara more interesting. Even ask Monroe; he suggested it,” Tammy said, although she felt that what Phil said was kinda true.

“And now it’s at the point where some people actually prefer Miley over Tamara,” Phil said. “And since Tamara is the true you and you value these people, it’s bringing down your self-esteem.”

“People hate me,” Tammy said. “They hate Tamara; especially Friend. But with Miley, I have friends like Laraine and George.”

“Friend is mad that you’re hiding behind this Miley mask,” Phil said. “She wants people to see how great her friend is but they can only see Miley because that’s the only person you’ll let them see.”

Tammy turned away a little to hide the fact that she was blushing. “But there’s a sorta fun thing to having an alternate identity,” she said. “I can’t explain it.”
