I remember what you wore on the first day.
You came into my life and I thought, "hey, you know, this could be something."
I realized this could get a little confusing from here, because I forgot there's a lot of POV change.
I'm sorry if there's any confusion, but here's a little guide...
Purple = Shona

**FLASHBACK MODE!!!**
I woke up in my icy-looking bed.
And I woke up in my bed, due to Kat logging me online.

I remembered dropping on the ground offline and falling asleep to come online. Kat's brother had logged me on in a hurry, anxious to play on Webkinz World.
So now I was on Webkinz World. Okay.
I heard my owner's giggles through cyberspace. I suddenly felt myself transporting to another household. I walked through a door to a room.
I remember Kat and her brother wanted to have a Webkinz playdate. Everything had happened so quickly. Next thing I knew, there was an interesting-looking Husky walking through my door.
All of a sudden, I heard a giggle.
I froze. I had accidentally giggled. Ugh, why me? I thought. Now he's going to think I'm a total weirdo. But why does he look so interesting? I mean, I remember seeing him around offline, but now we were online in the same room, and something felt funny about this; funny...but not in a bad way.
I turned and saw a Beagle looking at me nervously. Wow, she's kinda pretty, I thought. She seemed like an interesting Webkinz. This is going to be an interesting playdate, I thought.
I was very interested in who this Beagle was. I had remembered spotting her a few times in the offline house, but now she was actually here. Something was different--I was going to get to know her now.
He didn't look repulsed. Phew!
I had decided to be bold.
I walked up to him.
"Hey," I said. "Shona." I felt silence by my own nervousness.
"Icestorm," he said.
I couldn't speak. Why was this? What was going on with me?
We stood and looked at each other with fascination and shyness for a little while.

Suddenly, we were pulled out of our dazes when our owners popped up a game of air hockey. Now, we were in a situation where we had to be active. We had to directly face each other and interact with each other.
Moves were made. Human laughter and screams were exchanged. Shona started stifling some laughs, and I couldn't help but stifle some as well.
Soon enough, the game was over; and me and my new buddy were bounced from game to game.

Air hockey, pool, more air hockey, Zingoz Switcharooz, Dogbeard's Bathtub Battles, Link'D...games games games. Screaming, laughter, wins, and losses were happening with Kat and her brother.

What was happening between the Beagle and the Husky was completely different.
Something's happening. I can feel it in my fluff, I thought. I wonder if Icestorm's feeling it too.

Eventually Kat's brother and Kat stopped battling 'til the logout and clicked me and Shona around the room. They giggled as they had us follow set tile paths across the virtual floors.

After so much walking, Kat's brother started frantically clicking random silly emoticons from the KinzChat textboxes, and next thing I knew, Icestorm was blabbering silly symbols!
I giggled at him.

But then Kat started doing the same with me, and I was spitting out embarrassing things!
And eventually...they were having us spit out heart symbols at each other! They were making us into mates and we had just met!!!!!

Woah! This was moving quickly! At this point I started smiling nervously. Also, my fluffy white face was bright red--I could feel the heat in my virtual cheeks.
I saw Icestorm blush. Was he feeling the same things I was?
His smile was also very nervous.
I giggled nervously.
I decided I had to do something about this.
I walked up to him.
She walked up to me.
"Hey," she started. "You want to hang out later when they're done?"
"Um…sure," I said with a jittery voice.
"Great. How does fingerpainting and the game of life in the basement sound?" she asked me. "If you want first we can meet up in my kitchen and have dinner first, if you're gonna be hungry."
I smiled and jerked my head back like I was surprised. "Sounds perfect! I love dinner and playing in the basement!"
I smiled contently at him. "Great. See you tonight!"

They had met up in the kitchen of Shona's house.

"You ready to hang out?" she asked.

They had their dinner.

Then, later on after the dinner, Shona quickly scurried down to the basement in anticipation for her playdate.

"Oh my goodness!" she exclaimed. "We're you waiting long?"
"Not long at all! I just got here a few minutes ago," Icestorm lied. He had really been waiting for a while, but only because he went down early because he was so nervous.
And their night began!

They played a heavily competitive game of The Game of Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition.
"I WIN!" Shona shrieked.

I felt Kat pull out the Hunger Games sport sac from the black suitcase and drop it on the smooth wooden floor.

Thump the bag went. I heard my boys puff out air as they felt the impact of the drop.
I could feel my body shake with excitement. A new place! A new environment! A new state! A new adventure!

Shona and Icestorm reflect on some things as they transition to their lifestyle at Kat's new living area.

**This update is told from Shona's perspective.**
I felt Kat pull out the Hunger Games sport sac from the black suitcase and drop it on the smooth wooden floor.

Thump the bag went. I heard my boys puff out air as they felt the impact of the drop.
I could feel my body shake with excitement. A new place! A new environment! A new state! A new adventure!

I reached my paws out to stretch out the opening of the sac, then I pulled my head out to the opening to see my new living space.

So for mother's day, I decided to make my mom an eBook with Adobe InDesign about Madison's life as a picture thread dog.
It's not done yet but I promise when it's done I shall post it.
But for now, here is the cover!

I also plan on making audiobooks for some of the picture stories. Obviously I won't post them here but if you guys want to go look for them when they're up, I'm not gonna stop ya. "What fourth wall? This is just some stupid teenager making ridiculous stories with her toys. This isn't an actual professional piece of work," Chloe pointed out. "And this is some sort of cherry, mango, and lemon frozen ice sherbet stuff I'm eating with an orange candy stick. I needed some citrus flavor and the director just passed it off to me because she couldn't hold it herself."

I sat back on the bed with her.
"Do you think we could ever recreate old memories?" Chloe asked.
"No," I said. "That's why we have to make new ones."

And neither would anyone else in the house…
He sat down next to Chloe. "I remember how you would always tell everyone, 'oh, don't worry about Kat forgetting about us. I know her. She's different from everyone else.' But now that her big nest departure is coming so close, I guess it's easy for fear and doubt to hit you. I always believed you when you told everyone to have faith in Kat, and I believe you now when you think we have a reason to be worried. Chloe, we're all worried about Kat forgetting about us, but believe me when I say we don't have to worry. Like you said, she's different. She's a kid a heart. But mostly, she loves us and the storyworld she's created with us so there's no way she'll let us go. Plus, she'll be home periodically so we'll still get to see her. Then she's coming to bring us all with her as soon as she can."

I saw Chloe, sitting by my pillow. She stared back up at me.

I patted the top of her head. "You're gonna be okay." I pulled back my hand. "We're gonna be okay. I promised, didn't I?"

"But still...I guess this is goodbye for now," Chloe responded sadly.
"Hey, we'll still talk," I said. "You know where to contact me, plus I'll be back home in a few weeks. This won't be for forever. I swear it."
She paused. "I really wish it was me."
I sighed. "Chloe, there's another reason I wanted you to stay behind...besides the whole hectic new environment thing."
She looked up at me with anticipating eyes.
"You're the oldest, real time-wise. You know the most about how this place works. You've gotten the most time to get to know everyone. You know how to keep other Webkinz happy and healthy, because you've seen me do it yourself. You have the most knowledge about how to run a Webkinz account. You know how to work all of the electronics. You know where I keep everything in this room so you can find stuff. You know how to work the microwave. You know the most about what everyone here needs."

"Wait, you didn't let me finish," I replied. "Basically, what I'm trying to say, out of everyone here, you're the most qualified to take care of the family while I'm gone."
"I am?"
"Yeah!" I assured her. "I've seen you take charge. I've seen you be a leader. I've seen you be a caretaker. I know you can do my job while I'm gone."
"But...I'm still a teenager mentally."

"Yes, but the mentally-adult Webkinz have their own kids to care for. You, I know you're able to do this. I have faith you'll keep order while I'm away for the next few months and so on."

"What do you think?" I asked. "Do you think you'd be willing to take this challenge?"
"My purpose..." was the only thing she said at first.
"Huh?"

"All today...all I've been thinking about is what my purpose in life is," Chloe answered. "Like, everyone else has something to do while you're gone. Like, they have a family to care for, a hobby to throw themselves into, or a promising career to expand on. But me, I didn't really have anything for me. I'm not mature enough to start my own family, I don't have any hobbies, and I don't know what job I want in the future."

She looked up at me. "But now, it's all clear." She smiled. "I get to be in charge!" She closed her eyes. "I get to tell everyone what to do and make all of the family obey me! Everyone will understand why I'm awesome!"
"Yeah! So you see, you don't need to worry about a future career, family, or a hobby. You don't need to worry about not being with me when I move out. You're job is to keep balance and peace in the family when I can't!"

Chloe grinned. "I get to control all of these silly simpletons! No longer will people look past me as a silly fellow plush! I am now...President Chloe! Empress Chloe! Queen Chloe! All-Powerful Chloe!"

She sat, closed her eyes, and thought about her newfound power.
"Well, Miss Empress Mother, I have to check out now," I said. "So, e-mail if you need to talk, text my iPod, and I'll try to get on to Webkinz once in a while to visit you guys." She didn't reply, so after a few seconds of silence I added, "Just know this isn't over, okay?"
Chloe sighed happily. I took that as an "okay."
