They all walked up to Amelia. But Blaze was just wandering around.

Chris stopped walking. "What's tag?"

Then Chris and Amelia sat up.
"So did you have fun, Chris?" Shane asked.

"I did," Chris smiled. "I wish I could have this kind of fun everyday at home with my owner."

"She'll never play with you unless you make her," Shane added.

"Abby," Chris began when he found her. "I just played tag with some other Webkinz, and it was the best experience of my little Webkinz life. And I just want to say that it's been hurting so much that you don't want to play with me."
"I understand," Abby said.
"You do?" Chris asked, touched. Maybe this would finally be the day!
"Yes," Abby said. "Recently I've been feeling bad that I haven't gotten a chance to play with you or even adopt you online. I feel super bad that you've just been sitting around for the past two years. So I've decided it's finally time to give you up. Next week I'm going to donate some stuff to Good Will and I think I should donate you too so you can be loved by someone!"

"Of course," Chris said. "I love playing with you and your cousins but I can't keep living with my owner and she agrees."

Shuffle put Amelia on the ground to look at her her.
"You mean a stranger?" Shuffle lectured. "What did I tell you about talking to strangers?"

"Mommy," Amelia began. "I have a problem."
"What is it?" Lily asked.

"My friend is leaving tomorrow and my daddy doesn't want to help and he won't let me talk to him," Amelia said.

Lily sighed. "Amelia, I'd love to help, but if your daddy doesn't approve then I can't do anything. I really don't want to get involved in this."

"That's not good," Chris said. He was feeling absolutely down. It was like there were big weights crushing his spirit. "So this is it, isn't it?"
He didn't want to say goodbye.
