Magnus dropped his fiery spirit as he looked at her.

Mandy looked into his eyes. By her look Magnus could see that she was confirming what Riley said was true. She kinda was with someone else and would never touch them.

"Magnus, no one could ever take your place," Mandy clarified.

I needed my Pegasus best friend but Kat couldn't buy her. Well, I wasn't alone, right? Lots of Webkinz didn't have their actual best friends!

"Why are you upset?" she asked.
"Because I haven't found my Pegasus friend yet!" I revealed.

She petted me. "I'm sorry, Madeline. But the Pegasus is retired. I can't buy them anymore."

"Can't you always order one online?" I suggested.
"I'm sorry but since they're so rare they get pricey," she denied.

I jumped up and shouted "You must really not love me, huh? I ask for one thing, a single Pegasus Webkinz, and you're all NOOOOOOO!"

"NOT LOVE YOU?" she shouted at me gesturing her hands in frustration. "Everyone on Webkinz Insider knows you're my favorite and a few years back when a teacher mispronounced a name I nearly yelled at her to CORRECT HER!"

Later on I logged onto eBay on her laptop.

I jumped a foot and turned around to Kat with my little fluffy heart pounding. I was so focused on ordering the Pegasus that I didn't hear her coming from the distance.
"Hi, Kat!" I said nervously. "I wasn't ordering a $50 Pegasus behind your back or anything! Hehehe."

"Mystical needs our help. See?" she pointed out.

"A Pegasus?"
"Yep," Kat said.
