"Hi, Barbie," he said softly. He couldn't believe he was actually standing in front of her. He was getting a little emotional. His search was over, and so was his long wait to see his friend again.

Barbie sat down.
"How have you been?" she asked. "How's Lily? And Sophie? And Shuffle? And Jenkinz? And Nicole? And everyone else?"

"I was, but then it all went downhill," Nick spilled (oh, gawd, I hate that word...I might look for a better one later). "I mean, I had Chelsea and Lily but they're going on in different directions away from me. Lily has Lacey, Nicole, and Joey and Chelsea has Liz. I also recently turned 21 in KatKinz years and got a job at a restaurant but that went out of business."

"It is," Nick replied. "So I had Mandy build a spaceship so I could come here and maybe live with you because there's nothing left for me back on Earth. I miss the old days when it was you, me, and Lily." He hoped so much that Barbie would let him stay with her. Why wouldn't she?

"Look, I know how tough it is some days to look ahead but you have to," Barbie began to say slowly and calmly. "But you belong on Earth."

Barbie went up to Nick and placed her hand on his head.
"Trust me, things will get better," she added. "But I want to tell you one thing: I like you just the way you are, and I'm proud of all that you've done. Other people may not see that now, but just remember that I always will. I'll be back on Earth someday to come and visit you and everyone else and I promise that."

Nick sniffed and hugged her. "You always know what to say," he said quietly.
"Actually Fred Rogers said a majority of what I just said before but they're good words," Barbie credited, killing the moment a bit.
But Nick didn't care. He just smiled.

Barbie tinkered around with the spaceship so Nick could get home better while Nick and Kwop talked.
"Thanks for everything," Nick said. "What will you do now?"
"I think it's time I left the planet," Kwop said. "Xenas is not really a place for me and I want to explore the universe. I hear they have good McDonalds on Mars."
"Okay, I'm done," Barbie said.

"Good luck, Nick," Barbie said as she petted him. "I'd come with you buy I have to stay here for important government tasks. I'll see you soon though."

"Will I ever see you again? Is this goodbye?" Nick asked Kwop.
"I hope not," Kwop said. "But I promise, if I pass by Earth during my travels, I will definitely stop by. I don't think the universe can separate us too much."

Before Nick could say anything Lily tackled him with hugs.
"But I thought you guys didn't care about me," Nick said.
"Nonsense!" Lily reassured him. "We'll always care about you!"

"I was just hanging out with Liz so that we could make a trio!" Chelsea clarified with her arm around Liz. "I know how much you miss having a trio especially with Barbie on Xenas and Lily going on her own path. So I decided that making a new trio with you and me would be fun! And since Liz and I already have chemistry she would make a good third."
"Yeah!" Liz confirmed happily.

Chelsea came back with her friendship keychain in her ear and the other friendship keychain in her paw.
"And I think this is yours," Chelsea said as she handed Nick his friendship keychain. "And just so you know, Franny is going to get a sponsorship for someone so she can re-open the restaurant! We'll have our jobs back!"

He looked out the window and up to the sky. He lightly smiled as he remembered that Barbie was lightyears away and was always thinking about him...

Paley was just strolling around one evening when Saturn spotted her.
"Hey, dude," he greeted.

Paley jumped.
"Huh?" she gasped. "Dude?"
"Just saying hi," Saturn shrugged.

"Oh, okay," Paley said, relieved. "I just don't like it too much when people call me a 'dude.'" Paley said. She dropped her voice a little bit when she said 'dude.'
