"Hi guys!" Mandy exclaimed with joy when she went up to them. This time she really had hope that she would become popular with her scientific self. "You know that frog that creepy dog coughed up a while ago? I think we should learn more about him! There's something special about him...I just don't know what!"

Friend moved closer to Mandy and whispered, "I'd love to but now isn't a very good time. Can I talk to you later?"
"Okay," Mandy said softly.

Zuko pounced in front of Mandy, as confident as ever.
"Hello, Mandy!" he greeted with pride in his voice. "Guess what? I think I found you a friend! Get onto Webkinz World!"
Mandy sighed.

"That's it," Squigglenoodle said in a firm tone. "Get that lobster!"

LemonPet climbed onto the edge of the window.
"Woof!" he called out.
"I'm okay!" Cheryl called back. "Just get the Webkinz Mobile out!"

LemonPet climbed back onto the TV to push the Webkinz Mobile out the window.

Then Squigglenoodle and Gizmo caught up with them!

LemonPet quickly pushed the Webkinz Mobile out the window...

...and turned around to face the dogs.
"Woof," LemonPet mumbled.
"OUCH!" LemonPet exclaimed when the Webkinz Mobile landed on her outside.

"What's going on here?" I questioned suspiciously them from behind with my arms crossed when I found them.

"Hiiiiiiiii, Kat!" Gizmo greeted.
"LemonPet got recalled and Cheryl refuses to give him up to we have to seize him," Squigglenoodle explained.
"Recalled?" I asked in disbelief. "If he would have been recalled, I would have been notified or something! So he wasn't recalled."
"Oh," Squigglenoodle said in a flat tone (right wording, right?).
(Goodness I need a Writer's Dictionary...)

"That was close," Cheryl said.

"Hmm...maybe I should show Carly my telescope that can see the moon," Mandy thought. She was mumbling to herself of what to show Webkinz005's Carly the Pink Googles. They were going to have a playdate (which Zuko set up). "Or maybe I could talk about my time machine..."

Then Sadie walked in.
"Wooooow," Sadie said in fascination. "This is an awesome lab!"

Mandy walked over to Sadie.
"I don't have a Labrador," Mandy said in a flat voice. "I know some, but yeah."
Sadie giggled. "I meant your laboratory! This is amazing!"
Mandy heard a lot about Sadie. She didn't exactly buy Sadie's "positivity." "What do you want?" she asked.
"I just wanted to see what your famous laboratory was like," Sadie said, wondering why Mandy was being so cold.
"Well I have a friend coming over so I'm busy," Mandy said.
"Okay," Sadie said. "I just wanted to tell you that."

Could Sadie be? No no no. She heard about how mean Sadie was and didn't want to risk being treated that way in the end. It was just best to avoid it. And besides, she had to worry about what she'd do with Carly in just a bit.

"Hi, Shona," I greeted.
"Hi, Kat!" she exclaimed cheerfully.
"You know how you're gonna take a chunk of the spotlight soon?" I asked.
"Yeah..." Shona answered, not sure where this was going.

I held out a Chinese-staircase-style string bracelet. "I made you this collar when I went to camp."
