Friend went up to her and whispered, “I think Monroe’s starting to like me! Isn’t that great?”
“I guess it’s nice,” Miley said. “But I think Monroe would be better future animal mate with Laraine.”

Laraine smiled evilly, even though she had no actual evil intentions (or so it seemed). “I totally believe you’re you, Miley. You and Tamara look nothing alike.”
“Thank you, Laraine!” Miley said in a friendly tone.

Chloe walked up to them with flyers yelling “Prom! Prom! Come to the first household prom!”

“There’s a prom?” Friend asked, confused.

“Yep! Later this summer we’re having a prom!” Madeline said. “Bring a date or two! Or none at all! And VOTE FOR ME for prom queen!”
“Suuuure,” Friend said unenthusiastically.
“Great!” Madeline grinned.

“Have you ever thought of bothering Kat for the Kung Zhus thing?” Friend asked.
“Kat would never get even another hamster but I would love that,” Monroe said.
“We could battle our hamsters together!” Friend threw out there.
“You know Friend,” Monroe said, “ever since Kat brought us home together I had a feeling we’d make good pals.” He half-smiled. “I’m glad we can share an interest of Zhu Zhu pets together!”
Friend blushed. “Well they are cool hamsters!”
“Indeed they are,” Monroe said contently. “Indeed they are.”

Laraine was walking with a Mazin’ Hamster.
“So exactly where are we going?” Herb asked.
“To get you a daddy!” Laraine said. “And maybe I’ll be your mommy!”
“You know you’d think when Mazin’ Hamsters got to go in Webkinz rooms we’d be treated as more than an accessory,” Herb commented. “I don’t like the idea where Webkinz control me.”
“Neither do I,” a voice said from the distance.
