"Salem!" the cat yelled. "I know it's nearly midnight, but do you think you could take me to McDonalds and get me some fries?"
"Sophie!" Salem exclaimed. "Is that really you?"
"Yup!" Sophie said cheerfully.

"Hello newbies," Madeline said. "I am going to tell you guys, Kary, Emmerald, and Penny everything you need to know."
Madeline, with Zalo by her side, was sitting on the bed talking to Kary, Penny, and Emmerald.

Maddy, lying on her back in the background, rolled her eyes.
Waiting for her turn with Zalo was hard enough, but hearing her overly-confident (to the point where it was darn annoying) brag about herself all day just added to Maddy's daily dose of frustration with life.

He began to venture in, but then noticed something looking at him.

It was a Webkinz Jr. Blue Puppy which was very much larger than he was. The puppy had a very large grin on his face.
"Um, hello," Prince Tuesday said awkwardly.

"Hi! My name is Cosmo!" the dog greeted.

"Um, hi," Tuesday said. "I'm Prince Tuesday, but you can call me Tuesday if you please."
"Prince Tuesday? Tuesday is a prince?" Cosmo asked in shock.
"No, not really," Tuesday said.
"Oh. Okay! Does Tuesday want to be Cosmo's big brother?" Cosmo asked.

Maddy sighed. "Madeline, can I see Zalo?"
"I'm busy with him!" Madeline replied.

"Can't you share Zalo with your sister?" I asked.
"But Madeline never lets me play with it!" she complained.
"Well just keep asking her for a turn," I said.

Cosmo finally let Tuesday go.
"Does Brother want to play hide and seek with Cosmo?" Cosmo asked.
"Um, okay," Tuesday said.
