What were they saying?
There was a picture of the bigger alien dog looking up at the spaceship.

Then a picture of what seemed like the bigger alien dog meeting the smaller alien dog. Whoever drew the note circled the picture several times to show emphasis.

Was the smaller dog supposed to Blaze? Did this person want Blaze to do something? And why?

She was braiding Christmas ribbon or something, totally involved in that and ignoring everything surrounding her.

Why did Magnus enjoy watching her so much? Why did she look so fascinating when she was so involved in a project?

She had a peaceful look to her...peaceful...like the silence and beauty of holiday nights and its soft music, gorgeous lights, and sparkling slow.

Magnus couldn’t bear the thought of not having her around close to Christmas. She was what defined his Christmas. The holiday would feel stale without her and her Reindeer spirit.

“Eh, you know,” Magnus replied. “Just thinking about the holidays.”

“Oh, I know! I’m so excited!” Riley gushed, barely attentive to what Magnus was saying and not attentive to how he was saying it. “I’m leaving here a few days early to go to a tropical island and relax before my big job! It’s going to be so much fun and the Reindeer and I are going to need it!”
