Giraffe was giggling and shaking with excitement. He just couldn't hold back his grinning.

"You're really gonna do it?" the shaky Shona asked Mandy. "You're really gonna bring my baby home?"

She went to grab the giggly giraffe's arm. "Come on, Giraffe. Let's go get to George and get out of here."

She took one last look at the lost and desperate family they (well, her mostly) had just made a pledge to.

She knew she was going to Xenas to retrieve a kid, but she had no idea what she was getting herself involved in. She had no idea what Xenas was like! What was the atmosphere like? How were the people? Was there even oxygen there? Could they even survive once getting there? How would they even know if Blaze was still...able to go home.

But even with all these uncertainties, she had to complete her mission; she promised.
(Okay that "looking back" action was so a reference to Legend or Korra. What am I doing with my life?)
