ANNOUNCEMENT FROM KAT TIME!!!!
So you guys know I want to take the concept and stories of this thread a little more seriously, right? Like I've begun to tell A LOT of people about what this thread is (including the fact that the Webkinz act out the pictures and all), and telling them how I want to make a TV series inspired by it in the future.
But I want to be able to tell people the name of this series. And it's kinda weird calling it "Kat and the Webkinz" in real life. Plus, if I develop this into a show, I can't call it like "Kat and the Webkinz" or "Kat and the Plushies," y'know?
So I thought I would create a crafty addition to the name of the thread/series!
So I love the concept of One Direction's "Story of My Life" song and music video. I would call this thread "The Story of My Life," but that's just too rip-offy and not creative enough.
So I have come up with a similar title with added adjectives!
"A Noteworthy and Plush-tastic Story of My Life: The Adventures of Kat and the Webkinz"
Yes, we're still gonna usually call the thread "Kat and the Webkinz," so feel free to refer to it as that. I will just be telling people in real-life I have a series called "A Noteworthy and Plush-tastic Story of My Life."
I personally like it! Because this thread is basically my life. My life has been this thread since 2008. We're getting close to 6 years. That's a good chunk of my life of being mentally with it, y'know? Plus these characters have been in existence since 2007, so their stories have been sitting in my mind ever since. (Like Chloe and Rex's stories, Shona and Icestorm's story, how Emma and Taffy are the little sisters to Chloe, Phil and Lil being twins, etc.)
So in reality, this thread is a good depiction of my life and it's stories. It's about how I've developed as a storyteller, how my Webkinz characters have grown up, how I've grown up with them, how I've lived and grown with you guys, etc.
To commemorate the name change, I drew a little picture of Chloe thinking about the stories of her life and stuff.
