His relieved brothers joined the rest of their family in a loving group hug.

Everyone broke free of the group hug and Shona and Icestorm were ready for the long-awaited moment they had been preparing for.
"Alright, before we say anything else," Shona began.
"Your mother and I wanted to talk to you about something," Icestorm finished.

Blaze looked up at his parents with curiosity while his brothers scooted themselves off to the side a bit.

"Well, Blaze," Icestorm began awkwardly. "It's quite obvious that you and your brothers are not related to your mother and I biologically."

"And we understand that you have been taking some trips to the planet you originated from to find answers about yourself," Shona continued.

"Like how you came into existence and all that," Icestorm continued.

Blaze just continued looking up at them, listening attentively. His parents didn't expect him to respond anyway because they've never heard from him before.
"We just want you to know that even though we're not biologically related, we're still a family just the same as any other loving family," Shona said.

"I mean we understand and are accepting of you wanting to know about your history, but your mother and I, well we're your parents and we love you no matter what," Icestorm added.
"And that's just it!" Shona concluded. "We're still a family even though we're not connected like other families are, we love you all just the same..."

"And this is being directed to you too, Cupid and Shane," Icestorm quickly added.

"So, um, do you think you guys want to explain some things? Like about where he came from and such?" Icestorm awkwardly asked George, Mandy, and Giraffe.
Giraffe was blushing because this was his first day of permanently living in the same house as George forever.

"Well, um, we've learned a lot today," Mandy started.

"As you two know, Blaze went to Xenas in search for his biological mother," George began explaining. "He's made many brief trips there over the years, mainly a few summers ago, in search for his origination, but this last one was the first serious search."

"And it turns out, he doesn't have a biological mother," Mandy added.

"Yes, it was a misunderstanding," George half-lied as he continued on, not wanting to alarm the paranoid parents. "Point is, Blaze didn't come from any sort of 'parent.' You see, he's an 'Assessor' on Xenas. He was created in bulk with other Assessors to be sent to all sorts of planets in the galaxy as gifts from Xenas, to show that the planet is peaceful."
