Hey guys! So today I had a little bit of time on my hands so I decided to check in and post a lil update!
So what's up? You guys excited to see Part 2 of the Christmas special? Only two more scenes and the script will be done!
Since I had no will to get out of bed to go to my desk and post actual picture updates, I've decided to just post an update from the iPad. And by an iPad update, I mean Paper (as in the app) sketches!
So here are some random sketches of Zutara I did one day out of boredom:

As you guys know, if I get the chance to, I plan to develop some of the thread into a TV show. (Not the whole thread and every detail of course, but certain parts. Like the major storylines of Chloe and her little group, Shona and family, Shuffle and family, Lily and Nick, and maybe the Reindeer. Basically my most developed stuff would be incorporated, plus some other twists (like the concept of me being a character and parts of my life are involved because raising live plushes adds stress!).
Anyway, I saw a little thing on Nicktoons where cartoonists give you advice. One of them was to keep a sketchbook on your characters.
Here are some cartooney sketches of what would be Chloe. I'm trying to make a plush poodle in my style of drawing, mostly to stay away from the Ganz design of the Webkinz poodle so I won't have to deal with copyright headaches and all.

As you can see, she would maintain her sassy, snotty, rude, sarcastic attitude she holds in the thread.
(And if you're wondering about her collar, it's supposed to be a soda tab bracelet because I plan to incorporate into "my" character that I still make these bracelets, and make them for collars for my plush pets.)
This is a sketch I'm more proud of. It's a sketch of Rex! (Or Rexy, as Chloe calls him.)

I just wanted to share all that. :) I'm sorry if this bored and annoyed you guys, but whatever!
(Hey, if it turns out I do get to make the thread into a show, you guys can be hipsters and talk about how "the original was better," "I was a fan before the TV show happened," "I saw the very beginnings of it," etc. Haha.)
I'll be sure to share anymore sketches and such. :)
