"Hi, Paley!" Nick greeted.

"You mean, we cursed Kat?" she cried.

"I don't know about that," I admitted. "What I do know is that Santa's taking her to the North Pole so the elves can fix her. She won't be around until at least tomorrow."

I paused, looked away a bit, and quietly said, "Just probably a bit of Christmas Eve."

I quickly looked back at them and changed my tone of voice to a hopeful one.
"Come on! We still need our Christmas spirit!"

Taffy randomly walked up to us from behind Nick and Chelsea.
"I will!" she said in a heroic and brave voice.

"Okay," I said. "Now just go behind the camera and take these pictures because moving around this heavy thing on the tripod is annoying!"
