Later on my mom made us hot chocolate!
I also noticed that Paley seemed to be happier. Maybe it was just Christmas spirit?

After about another hour we went to the kitchen.
"Cookies!" Paley exclaimed.
"Told you my mom would make more cookies," I said.

Then I went shopping for 4 hours and came back to a VM from lifeunicorn.

She directed me to a thread about my event!

After a while me and Paley brought all the gifts I was gonna give to females of my life and spread them out on the floor.
"Now let's wrap!" I exclaimed.
"Yay!" Paley cheered.

"Like my new Christmas accessories?" I asked Paley.
"They're amazing!" she commented. "Put them on! NOW!"

So I took out my current earrings...

...and put in my new snowflake earrings.

Then I slipped on my new bracelet on my other wrist.

At about 9 PM we finished wrapping the presents.
"Yay!" Paley cheered when we were done. "That was fun!"

Dasher, who had Riley on his back, came up to me with Kaylynn by his side.
"Hey, Kat," Dasher began, "Santa just got back to me. He said that he made it through the fog and that he'll be here in about twenty minutes to pick me up."
"Okay," I said. "We better get you guys ready!"

"See Kat?" Paley said in a rubbing-in-face tone of voice. "Your Christmas presents are done, Dasher and the Reindeer are pretty much fine to go for the trip, and nothing really bad has happened so far! Everything is just fine! What could possibly go wrong?"
