Paley squealed as I clicked "Adopt a New Pet."

"Yes!" Paley exclaimed cheerfully.

I patted her head and said, "You can read your bio. I'm gonna go upstairs and do some stuff."

Paley grinned and turned around to read her bio as I left. Suddenly, her grin dropped to a wide-open frown.
"No," she whispered. "No! No! No no no no no!"
Something was not right. Something was horribly wrong.

Back upstairs I was messing around with my whiteboard.

Paley climbed onto the bed.
"Hi, Paley!" I greeted. I noticed she seemed kinda down.
"Hi," she said quietly.

I held up the jingle bracelet.
"I just found the Christmas bracelet!" I said. "Wanna wear it as a collar?"

"Okay," I said as I slipped the jingling bracelet onto my wrist.

I greeted Paley who was happily wearing the new coat outfit from Miss Birdy. Later on she said she might put on the Mrs. Claus outfit.
