"Uh..." was all I could say when Hershica managed to get a good view of the toy. I was just speechless that this happened.
"My Tamagotchi," Hershica quietly and sadly said.

Hershica quietly stepped back.
Kaylynn wrapped her arm around her. "Don't worry, Hershica! It'll be okay!"

Hershica forced Kaylynn to step away when she violently started rolling on the floor and screaming.

Then she started bawling and her tears spilled into puddles on the floor.

I held her.
"Aw, Hersh, don't cry!" I said warmly.
"Leave me alone!" she yelled.

She walked away angrily as she sniffled.

Zami and Zeb were busy searching on the computer.
"I hear the next solstice is soon," Zeb said. They were looking up the date of the winter solstice.
"It's very soon!" Zami commented when he spotted the date.

The Zums looked at each other.
"It's today," Zami said.

"Hey, guys! Whatcha doing?" Shona greeted.
"Something non-evil, I hope," Magnus said.

"We're looking up the day of the solstice - one of the most important days of the years for Zumbuddies," Zami said.

Kaylynn looked down at the Webkinz Elevator. "Hershica, you gotta let me help you feel better."

Hershica was cooped inside the basket of the Webkinz Elevator.
"I'll never feel better!" she yelled up at Kaylynn.

"Just come with me to talk to Kat," Kaylynn offered. "She knows how this happened. Don't you wanna know how little Gavin (her Tamagotchi) died?"

She was curious about how her perfect little pet could possibly die.

The two landed on the edge of the bed. I was already sitting against that area waiting for them.
"There you guys are!" I said. I was very anxious. I felt so bad I let this happen!
