I sighed, got up, and walked away.
“Oh and baby, remember you owe me $116!” Chloe called back as I walked away.
“Mmkay.”

Debbie raised an eyebrow. “Why does Kat owe you $116?”
“It was from three bets - one $11 one, one $5, and the recent famous $100 one.”
“Why do you guys make all these bets?”
“Because she’s too confident with her predictions about her life while she’s stupid and I enjoy rubbing that in her face.”

All of a sudden, the world seemed weirdly colored and...not real!

“Why do I feel unrealistic and like a cartoon?” Chloe questioned skeptically.
“This is strange,” Kiki added.
“I just want a decent movie adaptation for once!” Debbie randomly shouted.
“Focus, Debbie! We kinda could have a big problem on our hands!” Kiki said with some anxiety lingering in her voice.

Then the world flickered back to normal colors.
“What’s Kat up to now with this storyline?” Chloe said with an unsurprised and annoyed sigh.

All of a sudden, Sabrina and Arif appeared. Swirly was by Arif’s side, as usual.
“ABRACADABRA!” Sabrina exclaimed as they appeared.

“Chloe, I feel like the whole ‘breaking the fourth wall and making fun of Kat as an author’ joke is completely played out,” Sabrina replied.

“Oh please, I’m Chloe Kaynine,” Chloe said. “I never get old. Now solve this plot so I can just go watch some TV and eat citrus fruit and make fun of society.”

“I’m on it!” Arif said eagerly. “Now let’s figure out why this could possibly happen. Now tell me, you guys, is there anything major that happened recently that could alter the natural order of the universe?”

Kiki did a little mini-wave to get his attention. “Um, over here! Very recently us virtual-only Webkinz traveled to Earth and the plush-only Webkinz traveled to Webkinz World thanks to the Zumbuddies and their magic! They wanted to give us the opportunity to experience the opposite world!”

Sabrina rolled her eyes. “Those foolish Zums. They think they are so great with their magic but they don’t even know half the dangers they bring up just by using it!”

“Huh?” Kiki asked, confused.

She walked closer to Kiki.
“You can’t just let people switch worlds like that! It risks the balance and continuity of the world!” Sabrina explained with frustration.
“I don’t get it.”
“The world is possibly spasming into a cartoon state because Webkinz Worlders are here. Earth is not supposed to be cartooney so allowing the switch to continue could transform this place into a nightmare cartoon world. Everything will be out of balance and not function properly!”
“But a cartooney Earth sounds nice. What about Webkinz World?”
“It could possibly vanquish from existence because Earth would be too cartooney for even more cartoons that is the other world of Webkinz World.”

“Exactly!” Sabrina emphasized. “So we need to find those Zumbuddies and have them fix this before the whole universe gets messed up!”

There was an awkward silence.
“Fine, don’t play along with me,” Chloe said with attitude. “Just find the Zums and get them to fix this!”
Everyone scrambled to look for a Zumbuddy.
