Okay, so I was kinda supposed to post this update a looooong time ago.

So this is a collaboration with LakeTrio3. It's a sequel to the story I posted last year, Is the Grass Really Greener on the Other Side?

So over here is her side to the story, and I will be posting this gradually, starting with the first post part today. :D

Bear with me, this update shall require editing and some extra work.

Previously on Kat and the Webkinz...

"You should have seen it, Gummy! It was insane!" Sir Edmund was telling a story about the offline world. The Webkinz were always sure to keep him up-to-date of what was happening offline. (And the same for the Kinz Klips who were offline-only.)
"That sounds like fun. I really wish I was there. I really wish I was plushie. I would give anything to go offline," Gummy said. Gummy had always felt left out not being able to participate in all these adventures.

Cheryl had already sat up. "Hi, Gummy!" she greeted happily. "I see the transition went well last night?"
Gummy sat up completely confused. This new world was making his brain all mushy and tired. He couldn't think straight.
"What transition? Where am I?" he questioned.
"You're in Kat's room, silly! You're an offline Webkinz now!" Cheryl explained.

It's starting to bother Gummy more than ever that he (and some of his friends) can never go offline. Maybe there's something that some magical friends can do about it?

It was a quiet day on Webkinz World. Gummy was playing some air hockey with Dutchman.

"You're going down!" Dutchman challenged.

"No, I think YOU'RE the one going down!" Gummy replied.

Zami appeared above Gummy.
"Waddup, Kinzies?" Zami greeted.

Gummy gasped, startled. "And you think I would have gotten used to your surprise appearances by now!"
The plastic disc clanked into the goal of Gummy's side.

"I hope you never do 'cause I'm winning!" Dutchman exclaimed as he did a little backflip.

"And we're 'Kinzies' now? I thought we were 'Kinzers," Gummy commented.
"We were, but Ganz subconsciously took the nickname to describe Webkinz players, so now Kat is calling 'Kinzies' now," Zami said.
"Okay," Gummy said, changing the subject. "So, um, any messages for moi?"
"Yes, actually," Zami answered.
"From Magnus?" Gummy asked anxiously.
"No, from the pope!" Zami answered sarcastically. "Yes, from Magnus!"

"Tell me now!" Gummy playfully demanded.
"He said, 'tell Gummy that everything is alright on Earth. I climbed a tree with some of the guys. The online adventures you have still sound epic! I still want to join you someday! Magnus," Zami said.

"Tell him, 'hi, Magnus! Today was simple. I just played air hockey with Dutchy. I wish to join you someday too, but in real-life. Gummy," Gummy composed.

Then he sighed remembering that dream he had here he went offline. "Sometimes I wish this one dream I had was real. I went offline. It was unpleasant but it was only a dream so I never got to truly experience the offline world."

There was a pause. "Oh, Gummy. Maybe by some miracle it will happen someday? And you'll always have me and Kiki so you'll never be alone," Dutchman encouraged.
"But what's the possibility that will ever happen?" Gummy said unhopeful.
Zami felt bad. He was lucky enough to be able to experience both worlds but he felt bad for his best friends who weren't able to.
"Well, I'll go deliver the message," Zami finally said to break the awkward silence. Then he poofed away.

Zami appeared offline. He wondered if there was anything he could do. But what more could he do? He was already delivering messages between the two friends. But did they really mind not being together in the same world?
You know, they probably do mind it, but it's probably mostly just their desire to expierience the other world, Zami theorized in his head.
Then Zami started thinking some more. Was it even possible? His magic only went so far. But that was just his magic alone. What if he had some help?
