"It just disappeared!" Mandy exclaimed.

I was knocking on my closet door.
"Someone get me $20 out of the bank!" I called.

Then Friend popped out.
"It's all gone," Friend said.
"What?!" I yelped. "What do you mean my money is all gone? I got a bunch of Christmas money!"
"Well Sophie came and took it all," Friend said. "That's all I know."

Later...
I was looking at my letter from Dr. Quack. I couldn't believe I had to come to this decision.

"I can't believe I'll be gone for six weeks!" Sophie exclaimed.
"Well you'll get better," I said. "Now why don't you go pack your things."
"Yeah," Sophie said. "Because everyone wants to get rid of me so badly."

And she stormed off.
"Sophie!" I exclaimed. "It's not like that! It's just that Barbie's treatment isn't working and I don't have enough time to treat you myself. It's just for six weeks, and it's for the best."

And she just continued walking off.

"Don't worry, Kat," Mandy said. "Sophie's mad now, but when she's back, she'll feel a lot better."

"Once in a blue moon, things will work out," Mandy said.
