A while later, the phone rang.

"Heeeeey, Kat," Dasher said.
"Hey, Dash," I said.
"I'm with Blitzen," Dasher said.

Dasher turned the phone towards Blitzen.
"Blitzen say hi," Dasher said.
"Hi," Blitzen said.

Then he turned the phone back towards himself.
"Yeah, we kinda lost Shuffle," Dasher said.
"WHAT?!" I yelled. "You lost SHUFFLE?! Hold on, new reply on the thread."

It was from Sarah!
"Sarah has Shuffle!" I exclaimed.
"Can you ask if Shuffle can stay for the Eve?" Dasher asked. "We're due at the North Pole in an hour and twenty minutes and we're almost there."
"Okay," I said.

"Hold on a minute," I said.

Then Sarah replied.
"Shuffle can stay with her," I said. "Go ahead and continue your journey. Good luck! Also, Taylor wants a pink DSi!"
"Okay! Bye, Kat!" Dasher exclaimed before he hung up.

Then I slipped a quick reply back to Sarah.

I went back to bed with Moomoo, Madeline, and Monroe.
"Shuffle will be staying with Sarah for the Eve," I said. "Just like you, Moomoo."
"This is such a weird Christmas," Madeline said.
