"Sounds like a lot," Barbie commented.

"It is," Nick replied. "So I had Mandy build a spaceship so I could come here and maybe live with you because there's nothing left for me back on Earth. I miss the old days when it was you, me, and Lily." He hoped so much that Barbie would let him stay with her. Why wouldn't she?

"Look, I know how tough it is some days to look ahead but you have to," Barbie began to say slowly and calmly. "But you belong on Earth."

Nick looked down as his heart sank. "Oh."

Barbie went up to Nick and placed her hand on his head.
"Trust me, things will get better," she added. "But I want to tell you one thing: I like you just the way you are, and I'm proud of all that you've done. Other people may not see that now, but just remember that I always will. I'll be back on Earth someday to come and visit you and everyone else and I promise that."

Nick sniffed and hugged her. "You always know what to say," he said quietly.
"Actually Fred Rogers said a majority of what I just said before but they're good words," Barbie credited, killing the moment a bit.
But Nick didn't care. He just smiled.

"Now let's get you onto your little spaceship so you can move forward," Barbie said.
Then the two walked to go find his spaceship side-by-side (with Kwop following behind awkwardly) savoring the little moments they had left together before Nick left.

Barbie tinkered around with the spaceship so Nick could get home better while Nick and Kwop talked.
"Thanks for everything," Nick said. "What will you do now?"
"I think it's time I left the planet," Kwop said. "Xenas is not really a place for me and I want to explore the universe. I hear they have good McDonalds on Mars."
"Okay, I'm done," Barbie said.

"Good luck, Nick," Barbie said as she petted him. "I'd come with you buy I have to stay here for important government tasks. I'll see you soon though."
"Okay," Nick said. "Bye, Barbie."

"Will I ever see you again? Is this goodbye?" Nick asked Kwop.
"I hope not," Kwop said. "But I promise, if I pass by Earth during my travels, I will definitely stop by. I don't think the universe can separate us too much."

Barbie closed up the spaceship.

Nick closed the window behind him after he brought the spaceship inside. He was back in his home on Earth and it was the next morning.

Nick sighed. He didn't want to deal with all the pain on Earth but he knew he had to for now. He was working up the courage to go forward and maybe say hello to someone.
"NICK!" he heard a voice cry.
