Nick sat inside the spaceship Mandy made as Mandy continued tinkering with it.
"Okay, I've set the ship on autopilot to take you to Planet Xenas," Mandy said as she finished up. "To go back to Earth or just redirect the ship somewhere seems simple enough thanks to the simple controls."

Nick bounced onto his side so Mandy could close up the ship and let him blast off.
"Okay, thank you, Mandy!" he thanked. He was just too excited that he would actually be able to see Barbie again after a good year of her absence. He was all jittery on the inside and his body shook with anticipation.

Mandy slammed the spaceship shut and went to open up the window. She was happy she got the spaceship done. She enjoyed the challenge Nick gave her of making a spaceship, for she really had nothing else to do with her life at the moment. She was excited to see the results and was sure this would be a success.

When the window was finally open she pushed the ship slightly out the window to give it a head start.
"Have a good trip!" Mandy called out as the ship took off.

"Thank you!" Nick called back as his spaceship blasted off.

Pretty soon Nick was high in the sky.

His eyes widened in amazement as he looked out the window at the wonders of outer space. It was one of the most gorgeous things he had ever seen. He enjoyed every minute of his universe ride.

Eventually, Nick noticed that his ship was landing. His heart skipped a beat.
"Xenas," he said quietly to himself.
