Today's MMWF Thread Problems
Written By: Kat (aka me, Blackie_Lab2003)

I bet most of you lonesome picture threaders are all asking the same thing...

Why am I not getting much feedback on my updates? Why is it less than before?

You're not alone. Even I am getting less comments than before.

I had a little conversation with Sunnychan about this a while back.

He said...

Is there any way that you know of to attract more visitors and get more comments?
(I hope I don't sound to snob-ish.)
It's just always been my dream to have a MMKF thread like yours, and post updates and that sort of thing, and it really ***** to not get any comments on my thread at all.
Do you know of any way I can get more visitors.... or basically, just more attention?
(Blah I sound so terrible, I hope this isn't too selfish of a request.)
Anyways, you're basically my idol when it comes to Meet my kinz families, and c'mon, I'll be honest, you are literally the best of the best. ;D
And either way, I noticed you got lots of lovely comments on your thread when you first joined.
So, I hope this doesn't sound to bratty, I've just always wanted to make my own thread, but no one ever comments, and it's a bit disheartening for me. Should I make more friends and ask them to check it out? Cause I honestly don't know.

And I replied...

Nah, I completely understand how you feel. It's frustrating!

The problem isn't really anything with your thread or what you're doing. The honest problem is that the MMWF section isn't active like it used to be. Back when I first started, there were maybe about 10 actual picture threads with 10 smaller family threads. So that's like 20 threaders, plus the bunch of people that just liked to visit and comment.

Everyone started leaving close to 2011 because they got older and school got to be too much for them, or they just didn't take interest anymore.

When most of the older picture threaders started leaving (like Sara, Dance, KKF, Katerina, etc etc there's more I can't think of right now), basically everyone lost interest in the section and left. Plus, I started doing it less and less so add my followers to the people who lost interest. There simply wasn't anything to read anymore.

The reason why you're not getting any comments is because no one but the last small 5 picture threaders are commenting and looking on threads anymore.

So I say the best thing to do is make some friends and send them over to your thread.

The problem isn't you, the problem is that no one looks at the MMWF section anymore.
I want to give MMWF a challenge--let's try to rebuild. :D

Tell all your friends about how great MMWF to get some readers--and possibly writers!--in here. If you already have all of your friends in here, go into the clubs or the chat threads and make more friends!

Spread the word! Let's bring MMWF back from the dead!

And I'll try to comment more on other peoples' threads. And I'll try to post updates more often next year to stir up interest. They'll probably just be fun little blogs and virtual updates, but hey, it's an update! I promise next year will be better!

Thanks for reading! Tomorrow I will hopefully have an update up called "Why My Webkinz Could Never Hold the KCA's." It's also going to be featured in the KCA's on Kaitlyn's thread.

And I'm still working on Stay Part 2. I already have 60 parts ready! Let's see how long this will go!

Love you guys! <3
