Then Chloe appeared.
"The Stork," she said.***

"Yes, the big Stork bird," Chloe said. "He's a big bird. He brings babies in a sack. The Stork can tell when you want to have a baby. He usually tells mommies he's going to bring them by swelling them up, and giving them all kinds of symptoms. Then he leaves a note for the mommy's doctor, and the doctor tells the mommy that the Stork is bring her a baby. Then, when the mommy feels it's time to stop waiting, the mommy and the Stork meet at the hospital, and he brings her a baby. That's what Kat told me."

The two friends had enjoyed the fireworks show. It's one of the first special things they did together in a loooong time.

"Hooray!" Burbank exclaimed. "So, how'd you do it?"
"How'd I do what?" I asked.
"How'd you get the penguin under the bed and into Shuffle's bed without waking anyone up?" Burbank asked.

"Congratulations!" Barbie exclaimed.

"But what about that maternity leave thing?" Burbank asked.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure they'll ACTUALLY let me stay home if I told them my WEBKINZ had a baby," I said. "Besides, that would really only work for Shuffle and if he had a wife, which he doesn't."

"First of all, the Webkinz either sleep in their little storage corner, which is where all the over-100 Webkinz in this house are here, or they can sleep in Kat's bed if it isn't crowded."

"Kat's mom brought in a little TV for her birthday so she could watch movies with her friends, and has kept it in here ever since. It's always playing SpongeBob."
