"To finish off, a Webkinz is sprayed with a special gas that makes them forget everything that happened before leaving the factory, yet their life skills stick with them. This makes it easier for them to bond with humans. Although sometimes the gas doesn't work, like with Carly's Cricket."

Chadwick had gotten a bunch of Webkinz afraid of Santa. Dasher, Kaylynn, and Riley were with him, and they were afraid of losing them.

Cheryl had gathered up Hershica, Micheal, and Frosty Bumble. Paley was elsewhere and Sophie was having a snack. (And you all know where Dasher, Kaylynn, and Riley are.) She even had my phone.
"Chadwick," Cheryl said. "Phone's for you."
