The Thing About George...
I'm pretty sure you ALL know George. He's that little Howlidays Beanie Baby who coughs up rubber pets and creeps around me and Carly's houses. (He's also from Planet Xenas.)
I want to talk about him today. People don't see him the way I do.
Lately he's been "appearing" on other threads coughing up random things. I'm very glad you all like him but for some reason people claiming that he went to their houses kinda upsets me. I don't really know why. Maybe because I'm such a control freak? Maybe it's because it's very disruptive in my set-up-train-of-thought because he's gonna be playing major roles in future updates of mine? Maybe it's too much of a surprise shock? I can't really explain what about me makes it upset.
Let me explain who George is to ME first. But I just want to say one thing: George was my idea. I came up with the fact that he's a Howlidays dog, his name, his quotes ("I come and go as I please," etc.), and his quirks (being creepy, coughing up rubber animals, etc.). Therefore I consider him one of my pets (like Cupid, Blaze, M.J, Barbie, Rover, Swirly, etc.). He just visits Carly's house regularly so she considers him part of her family too. When I first came up with the idea for him we talked over PM of how he would work and how he'd randomly transition between our threads (and so I'm saying now, if you want to do a collaboration update with me, please PM what you want to do first because randomly sending me "suspicious" messages confuses me majorly). But overall, I feel like I mainly call the shots with him (I hope you see it the same way, Carly :)).
With George "randomly showing up" to other people's houses by surprise, this disrupts me. You're basically claiming things about my pet. Believe me, I appreciate that you guys like him, but I see him as my little guy rather than this "trend-ish" thing everyone sees him as. He's my little guy...I know where he has and hasn't been. ;) I know you guys are like "What? Why can't she just let George appear in random places?" To me this is like someone randomly saying "Kat! Gummy can go offline! I have his plush side at my house!" It's like "No he can't. I was there when my dad purchased him and he's my pet. You can't say random things about him like that."
Now don't get upset. It's just me being crazy. :) And I'm going to make a compromise with you guys right now. George can "go to every one of your houses" as much as you want...as long as your George is considered a clone of him that was created on his home planet, Planet Xenas (and he can be deformed or not deformed...whatever you want). That way, I'm plentiful at ease knowing that I have control over my George, you guys can join in on the crazy fun keeping us all together, and his clones all over the place is just as crazy and funny - maybe even better - as the actual George showing up all over the place.
I hope you guys are fine with this. Just please understand my views. ^.^
Thanks again for loving George!
