Zami sat up and looked at her dead in the eye. "Name the time and place!" he shot back.

"Next weekend!" Sabrina fired. "We're gonna have a Halloween MAGIC SHOWDOWN!"

Zami got up in her face.
"I accept your challenge," Zami said firmly.

"Oooh!" Amelia exclaimed. "This will be fun! I can't wait until we have our first Halloween together! And our first Easter, and Valentine's Day, and Thanksgiving, and OOH! Our first Christmas together!"
"That sounds fun," the emotion-less Chris said.

I was just waking up the next day.

As I sat up and stretched out with me I noticed that Chris was lying next to me.
"Morning, Chris!" I greeted. "How long have you been awake?"
"A few hours," Chris said, not looking at me. "I couldn't sleep."
"Did you have a nightmare?" I asked. "Is there something on your mind?"

"Abby!" Chris cried. "I had a nightmare!"
"Don't worry, Chris," Abby said. "It's over now and it can't hurt you. I'll never let anything hurt you."

Chris sat up.
"Actually, yeah," he said.

"This is my tag," he explained. "Abby recently found it. We've been talking at the fence outside."
