Jenkinz approached them cautiously. Then he said, "What's up?"

"We need your help," Arif said. "I understand that you have a very high IQ and you know a lot about dogs. So I was hoping that you could help us. We think Sparky ate Mandy."

"Yeah. He started sniffing on her and she disappeared," Tropical Banana added.

"Oh of COURSE Sparky ate Mandy!" Jenkinz said sarcastically. "That's the obvious thing that happened!"

"Wait, so you don't think Sparky ate her?" Arif asked.

"No, I don't think so," he answered. "He wouldn't have eaten her that fast. I've seen him destroy dog toys. Also he wouldn't be able to swallow her and digest her with all her stuffing and such."

"Okay," Chris said, thinking. "That makes sense. Thanks. So what did happen to Mandy?"
"Maybe she used some invisible juice!" Amelia suggested.

"Well, you guys go and figure that out," Jenkinz said as he left. "I'm gonna go find a melon and see if there's anything good on TV."

The group then stood in a circle.
"Okay," Arif began. "So Sparky eating her is out of the question. So how would she disappear out of sight so quickly like that? Invisible juice is kinda possible..."

Then Mandy popped out of nowhere with the frog that George coughed up in her hand.
"Hey guys!" she greeted. "You know this creepy frog George coughed up? I did enough lab-work and took some of his teleporting juice so I could teleport too!"

Hershica climbed on the bed feeling down.

She came up to me and sighed. "Hi, Kat."

"Hi, Hershica!" I greeted her as I pet her. "What's up?"
"I'm feeling down in the dumps," she said.
"Why is that?" I asked.

Then I put her on my lap.

I held her and she looked up at me.
"Well, the Tamagotchi battery is going to die soon," she explained. "I'm not asking for another one. I just want something else that I could treat like a Tamagotchi. I tried a Zumbuddy but Zami and Zeb are all busy."
"Hmmm," I thought.

Then I put her down on the bed. "Wait here."
"Okay," Hershica said.

Then I went to my desk and grabbed something.

"These are my old Tamagotchi pouches," I said.

Hershica was speechless. She started at the colorful plushes in fascination.

I placed the Mametchi in front of her. "This is Mame-Bob. He was my first pouch."
Mame-Bob giggled. Hershica started grinning.
