Part 2

Finally we decided to play Red Light, Green Light.
(And excuse me if I'm not doing this game right. I haven't played it in over 6 years!)
"Green Light!" I exclaimed with my back turned.

Amelia and Chris walked forward.

"Red light!" I abruptly exclaimed as I jump-turned around.

The two were frozen still when I looked at them.

I turned around and exclaimed "Green Light!" and the two inched closer to me.

Then Amelia managed to tag me!

The minute she did I scooped her up with my foot and plopped onto the ground.
"Gaaah!" I exclaimed as I went down.
Amelia giggled hysterically.

I picked her up off my foot...

...and placed her on my lap.
"You got me!" I exclaimed
"Yay!" Amelia squealed.

Then I scooped up Chris...

...and placed him on my lap.

Chris looked up at me.
"That was fun," he said. But for some reason there was no actual emotion in his voice.
"Are you guys cold?" I asked.
"A little bit," Amelia answered.

So I slipped off my jacket...

...then I wrapped it around the two gently.

I hugged the bundle close.
Then I noticed that Chris looked preoccupied and was staring off into space and it didn't look like he was just dreaming.
"Chris, are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm not sure," he mumbled.
